I’m only on ep 22 so maybe I don’t see what you’re seeing but Cheng yi is one of the actor I felt the most convinced when he cries. Lol like his whole face looks physically in pain. Whenever he cried I always felt like it’s more than just “I’m sad” cry, it’s like the doomsday of unjust, my whole world shattered cried lol.

Yes, he also plays cold and evil guy very well. I remember LS where he played ML and ML’md father with white hair. He was also so hot, evil, yet lovely all at the same time. Lol

I’m not understanding why the rating for this movie is so low. It’s one of the better drama and I think it’s at least worth 8.2-8.5. Sure it’s not as good as lotus mystery casebook, but definitely not this low. Is it because it’s not romance heavy?

Is he jealous of ML’s ability and goes against ML? I’m only on ep 21 now.

Yes, agreed. A lot of it was sort of too slow, and kind of boring, but it helps build the relationship between ML, FL. The storyline while that happens doesn’t say a lot. I was mildly excited for it because I was waiting for when ML find out who FL is. Very disappointed in the unnecessary scheming of 2ML in attempt to get FL. Could have just showed ML & FL’s daughter instead .

It’s low relative to other popular, good dramas. I try to watch movies that are like a solid 8.5 at least so wondering if it’s worth the try. Thank you anyways.

Started episode 1. Just noticed the rating is only 8.2. It’s pretty low. Is this movie worth watching? Is it a slow or immediately interesting with schemes and actions?

It’s slow. Not a lot happens despite lots of episodes passed. It gets better after ML finds out who FL is, but it’s only last a few episodes.

lol apparently having opinions is call being negative. Since you mentioned that people have a different taste, then my taste for this drama is a 8.6 so why are you complaining about my taste? You have the right to your own opinion and so do I. Not sure what you’re looking for. So POB is all you’re complaining about? No other drama I listed you have an opinion on? lol okay. I’m not saying that there aren’t people rating this drama for whatever reasons, but to say that it drop from 8.8 to 8.6 becuase people create more accounts or hating on the drama or actor/actresses is ridiculous. There are many factors why it’s a 8.6 including mules account, and also, perhaps maybe this drama does deserve a 8.6, which I don’t even think is low.

Are you telling me prisoner of beauty isn’t as good as the legend of female general? If “rating” is what you care about, apparently it has higher rating than this drama, and like I said, it isn’t that this drama is bad, it’s just not captivating. At least for me, POB I keep watching it, this drama I could hold off on watching it for a week or so until all the episodes air. If there were other dramas that are more interesting atm, I would be fine skipping this drama.
