Yes, agreed. A lot of it was sort of too slow, and kind of boring, but it helps build the relationship between ML, FL. The storyline while that happens doesn’t say a lot. I was mildly excited for it because I was waiting for when ML find out who FL is. Very disappointed in the unnecessary scheming of 2ML in attempt to get FL. Could have just showed ML & FL’s daughter instead .

It’s low relative to other popular, good dramas. I try to watch movies that are like a solid 8.5 at least so wondering if it’s worth the try. Thank you anyways.

Started episode 1. Just noticed the rating is only 8.2. It’s pretty low. Is this movie worth watching? Is it a slow or immediately interesting with schemes and actions?

It’s slow. Not a lot happens despite lots of episodes passed. It gets better after ML finds out who FL is, but it’s only last a few episodes.

Like I said 8.6. Stop complaining about a 8.6. It’s not even low, finished this drama and felt like a 8.6 is well deserved. Ending was super rushed and like Wdf?

I’m not saying that there aren’t people rating this drama for whatever reasons, but to say that it drop from 8.8 to 8.6 becuase people create more accounts or hating on the drama or actor/actresses is ridiculous. There are many factors why it’s a 8.6 including mules account, and also, perhaps maybe this drama does deserve a 8.6, which I don’t even think is low.

Are you telling me prisoner of beauty isn’t as good as the legend of female general? If “rating” is what you care about, apparently it has higher rating than this drama, and like I said, it isn’t that this drama is bad, it’s just not captivating. At least for me, POB I keep watching it, this drama I could hold off on watching it for a week or so until all the episodes air. If there were other dramas that are more interesting atm, I would be fine skipping this drama.

I’m on episode 23, and you’re saying I’ve only watched a few episodes? Lol or you’re overly bias toward it. Not saying this movie sucks, but compare to others with a high rating such as POB, JOY, story of ming lan, then the rating of 8.6 sounds right unless you actually think this drama is as good as those which I don’t think it is. I find Blossom, story of kunlun palace and the legend of female general is on par with each drama. It’s better than princess gambit, but not as interesting as princess agent.

Not everyone is obsessed with Chinese actors:/actresses to make a fake account to lower or increase the rating. As someone who watches a lot of Chinese’s drama, 8.6 is high enough for the episode I am on. And As I said, it could get better toward the end, but unless the ending is super amazing, I doubt it’s worth more than 8.6 as the other dramas I’ve watched with 8.8 or 8.9 is a lot better in term of storyline and also captivity.

On episode 21, someone explain this to me. The vice general said He Rui Fei told him to delay the request for rescue letter a few days thus causing 30,000 solders to die. I thought the rescue letter was to be sent to general feihong who is FL acting as He Rui Fei. Why would HEF give instruction to delay the letters from being sent out to himself? I know the person who gives that instruction is probably FL’s brother, but it still doesn’t make any sense because one wouldn’t tell others to delay giving a letter to themselves. I don’t know if I’m making any sense. I mean if FL’s bro tells the second general to delay asking for rescue from the king, that made more sense. I remember in previous episode FL said as soon as she receive the rescue request, she came right away so this doesn’t make any sense to me. Why doesn’t the second general question why HRF is there vs where he’s supposed to be stationed at?

Not sure. I’m only on ep 21, maybe it will be better but I don’t think it’d worth 8.8.. 8.6 sounds right or even 8.5, the movie doesn’t have anything that’s really thrilling and amazing.

Some people just like romance and sweet scene and good at guessing plots. 🤷🏻‍♀️ to each their own.

I happened to like TJC even when he played court lady despite note liking his character because I saw TJC in other dramas first and like him in there. I thought he was handsome regardless and then really like him in lost you forever.

In the novel she reincarnated? Does that make ML a lot older than she is in the novel? Or do you mean she reborn into someone else’s body?

She’s not evil. Keep watching it. You’ll know by episode 9.

On episode 3. FL started out as a general already right since she took her brother’s identity and was fighting in wars. Why is it that when she fought with ML in ep2-3, she is so much weaker than he is?
