I remembered listening to it and felt such sorrow and feeling sorry for cheng yi’s character. I was wondering if cheng yi sang it. This is when I was new to cdrama. Decided to search up the song but still don’t know who LYN is. Even when I saw him the first time in the movie An Le, I didn’t know he was the singer. lol the first time I saw him sing was with Tan Jian Ci and loved LYN’s voice but still didn’t know he was a singer. I thought he was just an actor who can sing really well. Now I know he’s OST king after watching prisoner of beauty and found so many songs I liked in dramas are sang by him.

What was the first song you listened to from LYN and thought it was so good and repeatedly listen, but you don’t really know who the singer is?

Ending felt rush, but some section was dragging like the above mentioned, some characters died and I felt like it was unnecessary and didn’t really impact anything so them being alive would have been better or somehow make them do something worth it to have a happy ending for the second couple too would have been better than just killing them off.

I agree on your assessment of LSS as a foreign viewer. I don’t care for actor and actresses just for their name or a loyal fan. All I care is storyline and acting skill and my opinion LYN acts a lot better than some pretty boys.

Oh I watched that drama and because of it I love LYN. Lol not sure what the anti fan issue is. I think LYN is definitely good enough to act with LSS considering I think a journey to love in my opinion from all the dramas I watched of her is the best one.

I think SML lost everything he loves, his aunt , then his dad and 20k military men whom he thinks is also his family, and then his fiancée can make people become bitter. I mean in his perspective he did asked ML’s uncle who lied and said ML is evil and you have hope on him so no wonder you lost and then his long lost comrade who also said ML threaten his family and he did deliver the letters then suddenly he died when ML’s friends were there so in his defense, he has evidences and felt like no one believed him so he felt broken and became evil . I dislike his character a lot but those who hate the actor for it is beyond me. They got some psych issues.
