I knew I saw that thumb ring somewhere! It was Xue Man's dowry. Yun Chi gave it to his daughter before her wedding day. The last time I remember I saw it was in episode 12 when Xue Man and Xiao Bai Long met Old Bug in Ghost Market.
My goodness. Yun Chi deposited all their family's property in a bank. Xue Man could withdraw it by showing the ring. Could he stored any Haiya's documents or Canfeng Army's secrets in the bank, too? 🧐

Ahh. I see .... So, it's like our national language, too. We speak Bahasa, but some of us has strong local dialects, like Javanese, Bataknese, etc. No wonder. China is a large country.
I think I can imagine how Xiang Han Zhi's Mandarin is. We have Cinta Laura here that talk Bahasa but in bule (the term for Indonesian mixed with foreigner descent) dialect. 😁
