This drama have a better script for FL than others, IMO. It gives us a calculating FL, not a childish one.

I know, right? Even though the drama skipped the three years of torture, the pain and frustration was shown all over her face. She became a bitter woman.
They complain about her attacks him, but forget he can dodge or avoid it. They complain about poisoning and, again, forget he doesn't mind and drinks the medicine himself.
That's why Bei Ming forgives Xue Man and Xiao Bai Long about the poison incident, because he allows it to happen.
