Simple Is Best
Unlike many of the dramas released in recent years, this series presents a simple healing slice-of-life story with brilliantly written characters and episodes. It never complicated the story and presented unnecessary plot twists even though it might've added a bit more excitement because everyone from the writers to the director and the cast knew that the show's potential lies on its story, rhythm, and the actors' delivery and chemistry. It's a perfectly balanced series where neither the acting, the editing, the directing nor the writing carried the show (and not one of them lacked in any way either)—every element of the production worked in perfect harmony and ended with something great.
It's a palette cleanser for those who want a break from all the dense and action-packed K-dramas whilst having a really good story and strong acting performances from everyone.

A Cliffhanger Ending Gone Wrong
Apparently, this series only had ten episodes but the writers wrote it as though there are twelve or more of them—a slow burn romance, a slow and steady main character development, a premise where that allows the show to have a repetitive plot structure that encompasses every two or so episodes. This affected how I view the drama as a whole because a lot of the main characters' development and relationships with each other have been left unexplored and the show feeling rushed and unfinished, dare I say hollow even.Hopefully, as the end of the 10th episodes implies, that there will be a second season soon and that the writers will pick up the pace and flesh out their characters by then.

Savior of K-Dramas for the 2nd half of 2025
The slice-of-life-esque premise, the elaborate yet simple storyline, the tastefully exaggerated acting and editing, the characters that are very one-dimensional especially at the 1st half of the series—it is vastly different to most K-dramas that have, in my opinion, put the genre in a rut for the 2nd half of the year.It is so enjoyable and refreshing to watch that it has made me look forward to each release every week, which has been awhile since I've felt that way about any series.

The writers must've been uninspired
If you've seen the anime "Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma" and the K-Drama "Mr. Queen" and some other sageuk dramas with time travel elements to them, then I really can't recommend this series that much—the synopsis and plot are similar so far, the way the characters react to Yeon Jiyoung's cooking is similar to Food Wars, and I presume the way the story will go as the episodes go on will be similar to that of Mr. Queen. Was this review helpful to you?
An original way of telling a story about the true meaning of family
I really loved how well everything is written in all aspects—plot, storytelling, dialogue and even the pacing. This really allowed the actors to show their full potential and so I'm not surprised that, in my opinion, this is the best Cho Yihyun's best work to date and one of my favorite dramas that featured the legendary Kim Migyung. It's not always you get a story that uses shamanism as basis for the story and its main characters, and this drama is one of the very few—if not the only—instance where it is used in a modern context instead of a historical/sageuk drama context. I loved how they used many elements and components of it to tell a story of family, reconciliation, romance, trauma and healing which gave me something very new and original from how other dramas of similar genres and topics would tell this type of story.

A Very Wholesome Dating Show
I love the interactions between the parents who are a part of the panel and the two MCs (Kim Seong-ju and Chuu), often providing comedic relief from the melodramatic interactions between the contestants with their witty remarks. I also like how the parents jokingly call out their kids' mistakes and quirks. The editing is really good and fair which leaves no room for evil editing amongst the contestants and drawn out moments that feel boring, the only drawback of which is that the episodes last for just barely over an hour.
So far, the contestants have been wholesome and respectful to each other even as tensions start to rise between the members who are interested in the same people.
The only problem with the contestants is that everyone is a bit too timid compared to other dating show contestants because they're all in their early 20s, an in-between period of time where they're too mature to go through the dramatic first-love type of experience that "Nineteen to Twenty" had but still not self-actualized and self-confident enough to express themselves more freely and confidently like the contestants in other dating shows such as "Transit Love", "Single's Inferno" and "My Sibling's Romance" where they're in their late 20s to early 30s.
With all that said, it's been fun to watch so far and I hope more people tune in despite how it's a bit harder to find English subs for it and how under-promoted it is since it's not on international streaming platforms and it's not broadcasted on the main tvN channel.
