But he had his throat slit... who can come back from that?
Personally, I think his guard was down because:
1) He knows SL can't fight. 2) Even if SL could fight, he didn't expect that SL had it in him to kill someone, much less his own kin. He was choking to death but also surprised af at the same time...
Situ Ling, you definitely have the worst brother ever, glad you put that hairpin to good use!
I ain't gonna lie... the way SL was lying flat on the ground, with his hair stuck to his face, whimpering at the end of that chain... it was lowkey giving BDSM vibes LMAO sksksksksksksksks
Ok listen, episode 19 was SPECTACULAR!!!! During a few scenes I was literally holding my breath!!! As much as I love Situ Ling, it's clear he's just a puppy in the grand scheme of things. His infatuation with Ming Yi might be strong but that's about it. I hope he can preserve his innocence and not fall into hatred and bloodlust in an attempt to get stronger and not be so helpless. With that being said, when he was hiding behind the rock quivering because he wanted to help but also knew he needed to remain incognito.... I was like... step aside SL and let JBZ show you how it's done.
Did you see the way he leaned down and jokingly asked her to marry him? Omg he looked like a prince! The main…
The way things are looking, either Situ Ling or Yan Xiao will embrace the dark side before the end of the show. I really hope SL doesn't flip and become evil when he discovers he can't have Ming Yi. He's been so good to her behind the scenes, risking a whole lot for his unrequited love. Then there's Yan Xiao, who seems to literally be walking the line between good and evil, not sure whether he wants to truly cross over or not. If he accepts THE TASK given by Mu Qi Bai, they'll be no coming back from it.
Not SL taking the hairpin JBZ made for MY☹️ Girl stand up, why are you letting him take it
Did you see the way he leaned down and jokingly asked her to marry him? Omg he looked like a prince! The main ML is my bias of course, but Situ Ling is bias wrecker material FOR SURE
I unfortunately watched si jin before this drama and now for the life of me I can’t bring myself watch this..yet…
This is funny cause I have the reverse problem. I watched Are You the One first and now for the life of me, I can't manage to finish watching Si Jin... I keep dropping it after awhile.
Ykw... You are exactly me! Ever since ep 1, I was like, "Oh, couldn't we have also gotten to see that same…
To me, FoF was visually stunning, and that's probably what kept me going for as long as I did. I can't remember which episode I dropped the series at exactly, but I recall not seeing Ryan Cheng yet even though I know he's part of the supporting cast. The issue I have with FoF and shows like it might just be based on my own biases. Like for example, I have a personal peeve with c-dramas that are based on detective work and crime solving, since I feel like their script writing suffers the most in those genres. I felt like the script was fairly weak in FoF, but then again, I know that some shows start slow and then pick up in later episodes. So maybe I didn't give FoF a fair chance.

I keep trying to get through Fangs of Fortune but end up dropping it everytime. But if you say there's strong bromance in there, I gotta pick it up again and give it another try.
Righttt it is so good!!! Havent reached up to there yet but already was hooked from Ep.1 and just watched Ep.10…
OH! I started watching Moonlight Mystique a few weeks ago and loved it in the beginning, but after awhile the plot started to lose momentum (and I was getting a bit irritated by the increasingly poor script writing). So, I dropped it at around episode 17 or so. Maybe I might pick it up again and try to watch it to the end, since you gave it a 10. Though I loved a handful of c-dramas this year, I still haven't found any that really stand out to me as a 10. The closest I've seen so far is probably The Prisoner of Beauty, but I gave it an 8.5. I feel like I'm on a quest to find a show I can rank as being a 9 or higher before the end of the year.

Listen, you are in for a treat! Lol. But wait, I gotta know which show you rank as your number one most favorite c-drama that you rated as a 10 this year.
I just finished episode 13, and realized my mouth was hanging open for the ENTIRE EPISODE! My goodness, if this show keeps this up, I might have to add it to my list of all-time favorite c-dramas.

OMG IKR!!!! Maybe we've been spoiled with all the bromance in modern c-dramas, but I kept imagining scenarios where Ming Yi's injury is healed but then she sometimes has to switch between her true form and her male disguise. Imagine Ji Bo Zai and Ming Yi finally confessing to each other and kissing, then Ji Bo Zai closes his eyes and opens them again and it's Ming Xian he's been kissing. That would be HILARIOUS!!!!
A bit technical here. That's because they both have a slight under-bite which positions their lips slightly higher…
When you mentioned the under-bite thing, the first person I thought of was Chen Xing Xu. I remember when I first saw him in The Starry Love, I was like "this guy's side profile is AWFUL." Lol. Loved that show though, and his performance was amazing in it. I don't think Chang Hua Sen or Quan Yi Lun have an underbite, but then again, I'll take a closer look later today to see if I can spot it, since you mentioned it's slight.
you could add quan yi lun (yan xiao here) and chang hua sen (known for his role in moonlight mystique and a journey…
Omg, Chang Hua Sen is one of the most attractive people I've ever seen 😩. When I first saw him in A Journey to Love, I was like holy cow this guy is STUNNING but in a forbidden way since he was playing an overly obsessed semi-evil role at the time (btw I know his character changed their attitude by the end of the series). To me, Quan Yi Lun looks more like Wang Xing Yue than Chang Hua Sen.

That would send him into cardiac arrest guaranteed.
