Iād also like to add that,itās very childish & idiotic to give a 1 star rating on a drama you havenāt…
And when you look at their profiles, theyāre clearly fans of one actor. I checked their profiles because I had time, and Iām pretty sure theyāre either the same person or part of a fan club for the other actor since they all have the exact same watchlist. They gave Cheng Yi 1 star and that actor 10 stars lol. They donāt even realize that what theyāve done could backfire and drag the actor they love into unnecessary negativity.
I've watched K-dramas since 2012 and C-dramas since 2015, yet ironically I hadn't seen any of Cheng Yi's dramas…
Love and Redemption is my second favorite drama, with MLC firmly at the top of my list.
Just in case itās helpful, hereās the list of his works Iāve watched and enjoyed, ranked from my most favorite to least favorite (this is purely personal preference): 1. Mysterious Lotus Casebook 2. Love and Redemption 3. Deep Lurk 4. Stand by Me 5. The Journey of Legend 6. Immortal Samsara 7. South Wind Knows 8. Sword and Beloved 9. Draw the Line 10. The Lost Tomb 2
As a longtime fan of Jie Tong, I feel genuinely heartbroken reading her first public legal complaint. The fact…
Hold on. I just feel really sad that she had to go through something like this. I genuinely love her character in the drama, and honestly, I even feel a bit of off-screen chemistry between her and Cheng Yi. She seems so easygoing, almost like the perfect match for someone as introverted as Cheng Yi.
This is actually my first drama of hers, and Iām already starting to like her as an actress.
Qing Tong is such a lovable character. One of the things I adore about her is how she always puts Fugui first. Aside from Rumu, sheās the one who truly understands him even without him saying a word. How can you not love someone like that? She was even willing to die at Jing Tingās hand instead of exposing her relationship with Fugui. Thatās loyalty on another level.
What I donāt get is where all the hate is coming from. Everyone has different tastes in dramas, and thatās completely normal. But going after the actress just because you donāt like the character is too much. I might say harsh things about a character I hate, like āI want to deal with Jing Ting myselfā lol, but I would never attack the actor behind them.
Itās totally fine to be disappointed with the script, but donāt go after the actors, theyāre just doing their jobs and trying to make a living.
We all have our favorites, and thatās fine. But throwing insults at someone and spreading baseless rumors to create chaos just because they arenāt your pick is going overboard. Supporting one actor should not mean dragging another down. Iām pretty sure this is just fan war energy, and people are using the drama as an excuse.
I even saw a review accusing Li Yi Tong of copying ZL and giving the drama a 1-star rating while it was still airing. That really does not seem fair at all. How is that accusation related to the drama lol
His contract will approximately end in January 2026, that's why they are rushing his dramas all at once .But is…
If the contract was signed while he was still with that agency, then itās probably a yesāunless they have different rules there.
Iām sorry, but Iām really invested when it comes to Cheng Yi āļø. Do you think heād ever leave his current agency? Is there some kind of dispute going on, or is he just looking for better opportunities?
I really hope itās just about growth. Iād feel awful if it turned out he was being mistreated. After hearing about what other actors in the C-ent industry have gone through, I just want my favorite actor to have a smooth and respectful career.
Though I have heard rumors that heās experiencing something similar⦠Iām still hopeful theyāre just rumors and none of it is true. Iām probably just in denial, maybe LOL.
I think we need to switch the pair for fair battle. Si Feng vs Ying YuanQiushui vs Fu GuiLi Lianhua vs Li Chenzhou1st…
This seems fair, but itās still difficult to decide which team I should side with. Hmm⦠I think Iāll choose Team Ying Yuan, Team Fu Gui (though that one is tricky, since I also believe in Qiushui), and Team Li Linhua.
Story: This drama is incredibly gripping, youāll find yourself hooked after every episode. Itās packed with thrills and suspense, with no dragging moments at all. Even the side romance works well; the subtle gestures are enough. No kisses neededājust the way Cheng Yi looks at the female lead says everything. His micro-expressions alone convey a deep, genuine love.
Acting: The entire cast delivers excellent performances. Everyone feels sharp, smart, and cunning, perfectly embodying their roles and the tense world of espionage.
Overall: This is such an underrated drama. Give it a chance, youāll be hooked after episode 4, I promise.
Just like in The Journey Of Legend. He is superb in acting 2 different characters at the same time. Wow !
He plays those roles so well! Honestly, itās kind of embarrassing , I was actually looking for behind the scene clips of Chenzhou and Qiushui before I realized theyāre both Cheng Yi š¤¦āāļø (I meant, I did know from the start, I just forgot š )
Are you reserving on Youku China? If itās on Youku China, you need to create an account ā you can sign up or…
Oh, that makes sense now! Yeah, Iām using Youku International. Thanks so much for the info, I really appreciate it. Itās actually my first time waiting for a drama on Youku š
Yes it is so obvious, the scriptwriter work for the production company, they are only employee. The one who is…
Oh no! My poor Cheng Yi. I really hope heāll never work with them again. No matter what kind of drama he takes on in the future, Iāll still support him ā but I do hope he stays away from those people.
