I just feel like itās really unfair to blame the actors and actresses. All of them are doing their best, and some are truly shining. Episodes 1ā18 were solid, but then it kind of derailed. It almost feels like they changed the director and scriptwriters midway.
I really love Fugui, Qingtong, Rumu, and the fox couple though.
With how badly Blood Pact and LIP dragged on and on, I think the issue lies with the scriptwriters and directors. I avoided C-dramas for so many years before because of all the annoying, pointless tropes ā or how halfway through, it suddenly turns into a completely different story, and youāre left thinking, āWhat the heck just happened?ā
Iām still going to finish this one though. Fugui is one of the most beloved characters Iāve ever watched ā Iām supporting the leads all the way. ā¤ļø
