Yeah, in general, I just think we have bad writers. I feel like it could’ve been cut down by half, and the way it played out left a bad taste in my mouth. The actors did what they could.
They tried to save it with episodes 28 and 29 from what I heard. 😅 We all like different things, but I just wasn’t expecting a psychological idiot for a third of the storyline. I’m not into that type of character, so it was even harder for me to watch. The character wasn’t even in the original storyline.
I'm in the minority once again. I like QT's character and think her decisions make sense 🤣 I saw many people…

Bigger sister disciplining younger brother is normal. You don’t baby them and spoil them rotten — much less this duod going around killing innocent kids and adults.......
I didn’t have an issue when she took him away. I have an issue that she doesn’t trust ML enough and thought he would kill him. So at that point, all the trust we built up at the beginning of the series was nothing, apparently. The inner dialog should have neen something like " i need to take him away bc Fugui is burning too much blood" Also his scene was just way too overkill over dramatic, he isnt even main character.
The writer could have done better — showing the brother-sister love in a way that everyone could feel her struggle in making that hard decision. But instead, it ended up being hated by most to the core. Execution of the scenes was horrible.
can people who are NOT quite connecting with this story, can you tell what you think is preventing you from it?
QC is 99% of the issue. He wasn’t even in the original 🙄. I was connected up to episode 17, then suddenly thought, “Am I watching the same drama?” 🤔 If they wanted to add a psychopathic arc, they should’ve labeled it that way. It just didn’t fit the tone of the story.
The original manhua/donghua main genre is romance, so fans were disappointed. I’m fine with a subtle slow burn, but by episode 27, I was questioning whether QT should even be with Fugui.QC is 99% of the issue. He wasn’t even in the original 🙄. Someone even mention there was a clip the actress/her team said this brother arc too long. ( can some1 share link? )
Maybe, like people said, QT’s just affected by the seed.
