Agree this was one of the funniest. Maybe also when Jin Zhao jumps off the boat and the younger sister gives Jiang Mu two ice creams. Quite a few funny moments

Some of the English versions I read also left out some of the more intimate scenes

Just started watching, up to episode 3 now. Never watched anything with this female lead before, so I’m looking forward to it.

Is this drama based on a novel or anything?

Yeah, also in the novel he seems to have lost his left calf I think, knee above intact.

The drama kept with the main story line of separation for 6 years, but they changed a key thing from the novel - he actually lost one of his legs in the novel - which I always felt made the separation a bit more understandable on Jin Zhao’s side.

Not Jiang Mu, but for me there is a total question mark over him for Jin Zhao 🤣

@Le2003 - The English translation is pretty good. I couldn’t write Chinese if my life depended on it but can recognise enough characters (and with the help of Google translate when I can’t recognise)

I think the easiest way is to hang out with Chinese people! I’m not sure what country you’re in but that’s how I learnt - I’m in Australia but have some Chinese friends and they’re always chatting away so you learn a lot there (oh and karaoke so you can learn the words/recognise them). Or move to China 🤣

@Momina It was pretty good because I already forgot the details of some of the earlier episodes so it felt quite fresh haha! I’m wondering if I should go and re-read the novel (in Chinese this time). My husband can’t understand the obsession so I can only share here haha

Yeah I think the 6 year ghosting made more sense for his character in the novel but anyway.

Yeah, Blossoms of Power!! I actually quite like Meng Ziyi so I’m looking forward to it, but we probably won’t see it for a while 😢

I watched Dashing Youth cause I really like Hou Minghao as well but was pleasantly surprised with He Yu in it!
