I want a good terrifying horror movie something that keeps me disturbed for atleast a week. I read somewhere it is rated 19+. Maybe it will have serious horror. Lets see.

You are wrong in this case i guess. It cannot be because its based on an urban legend and in this case the entity targets everyone near their vicinity, its not exclusive like a vengeful ghost.
Like slenderman, the weeping woman or kuchisaki onna. The entity cannot be some ghost of another individual who died only a few years ago. It is a psychological horror which means the entity will try to break the FL's psychology by manipulating her, like other urban legend entities.

And yes that includes envoking her guilt about something. The story wouldn't go in the direction of making the entity of a wronged individual, itwould ruin the entire urban legend.

Its the direction which seems off in my opinion. The director leans a lot towards the old fashioned direction and storytelling techniques. And, the acting falls a LOT in the hands of the director as the actors have act in accordance to the director's vision.

The miracles of Namiya General store is a best seller novel and has very good ratings. Moreover its not romcom, its slice of life and drama. Its quite a good story and if adapted properly it can be quite successful.

Apart from NTTT, the scripts and directors of all her other projects seem strong.

Only 9% of the viewers have rated it till now. 91% haven't, so the ratings can change by a lot after the drama proceeds to the second half.

He is not looking down on them, rather in disbelief. For example you finished college with top grades and you were appointed as a head executive and the next day you had to work as a clerk, you expressing disappointment and disbelief is not you disrespecting the clerks.

Its more like annoyance on the situation where your potential is not appropriately seen or used.

[I thought maybe some people might have similar judgement that Eunho will fall for Siyeol just because of looks as he is dumb, so i decided to repost my reply to one of the commentators which presents my views and it might be helpfulin providing a different viewpoint]


She is determined not to fall for anyone as she is prejudiced against the nature of humans and she doesn't wants to turn into one. She hasnt fallen for him but has a soft corner for him which was solely due to his difference in views comparedto those she had interacted before.( I will explain that in the coming paragraphs). She feels humans are way more vile and yet are considered to be of such value by the deities that you need to be "virtuous" in order to turn into one when the humans she has interacted till now lack it immensely while Siyeol is different in this aspect. ( This is due to the fact she only interacted with rich people who were already greedy)

Him only being beautiful is not justified as he has shown time and time again that he might be narcissistic but has a very big heart and is very forgiving . He has kindness in his nature and that doesn't make him an empty husk, he has a multifaceted personality and that includes him being slow and silly except when it comes to football. He might be stubborn in his views but that stems from his overenthusiasm at achieving perfection. The subsequent episodes will solidify on this point.

And this is what it says about Eunho. She is intrigued and surprised by his difference from the usual humans she interacts with even though she doesn't wants to show it.

You can see her surprise when he said he had no wish or by the fact he was willing to pay for his friend's wish. That's the reason she saved him as she had unconsciously developed a soft spot for him, as saving him was NOT the only way to balance the scale in ep 4 as hinted by her and that costed her her powers.

The only reason she never got together with anyone as she avoided human men in a romantic fashion and that applied to Siyeol too until she turned into a human which will force her into this proximity. If she hadnt turned into one, she would have had always kept him as a client and nothing else, maybe a bit more lenient in her strict rules. They still have not "developed" feelings for each other at all but sure have a soft corner about each other unconsciously, although they might insist its just disdain.
And honestly, Eunho having lived for 900 years, she must have seen incredulously handsome men, much more than Siyeol and yet she was intrigued by him.
The sole reason, he hadn't stopped caring about those around him even after he got rich and he was not consumed by greed.
He was satisfied with what he had and only wanted to achieve something when HE worked on it by himself, a very big contrast to Eunho.
It was never about Siyeol's hotness more about his heart.

In ep 4 Eunho expresses how she feels the concept of good deeds and bad deeds is a just a pretentious system created by deities as no person is appropriately punished for their bad deeds nor rewarded justly for their good ones. Bad things seem to happen to good people all the time while bad people remain exempt from suffering and tribulations.

Her explaining that practicing virtues will make her a human is not her accepting that it is right and a just statement . More like its a rule or a narration created by the dieties that "humans are very virtuous and to become one you should do virtuous deeds" imposed on her , which she doesn't agrees to and rebels against it .
To become a human she has to be virtuous when the humans she has encountered till now lack this trait needed in the first place to turn into one. So this feels unjust to her and totally flawedon the part of the dieties

Come on now, intelligence is not a parameter for being worthy to be loved or not, he seems compatible for someone like her, and there have been number of male leads who are fools but have their caring nature make up for it. I feel he will follow a similar path.

I feel it's a fresh take and a nice contrast to Eunho, who seems good at deduction and is quite intelligent, as evident in how she managed to tackle the villains and collect information on them too.I am sick of dumb female leads so I guess this time I will let a dumb male lead slide😝.
I may be biased but I find his antics too cute ❤️
