this comment was not for genuine viewers like you, it was for people who were using that excuse to drag the show. Anyways, nice to hear you are tuned in now.
Another thing, before you all start coming for Eunho being a grey character, remember why there are 9 more episodes. Yes that's right, for character development. And if you prefer a Mary Sue, do-no-wrong character then it's best you move on to some other drama.
Only 2 episodes are out and currently it's doing well in Netflix. I guess after the next 2 episodes you might…
Um it's not actually. It's by SBS broadcasting station. Due to a deal between Netflix and SBS, shows from SBS will be simultaneously broadcasted on Netflix
having a hope with this drama, but after a few minutes into first episode, it will be hard to watch. the story…
If the drama is not entertaining to you it's best to drop it. Forcibly watching something is not worth it. Many other dramas are airing it's best to go there.
One thing I wanted to point out, she didn't just randomly grab a human to tell her life. It is something she does all the time as she had mentioned. Since she gets bored while shopping, she chooses a human to spend the day with and kill her time and overcome her loneliness by talking and hanging out. She then changes her memories to forget about the interaction. It was not random, it was intended to provide information about her views as well as establish her avoidance of relationships of any kind with humans while also showing that even though she potrays she is fine alone, she actually needs someone.
Spoiled bratty gumiho needs to act annoyed all the time with a high-pitched voice? Not to mention the over-the-top…
All the time? Did you even watch the same episodes? Those characteristics are portrayed only when humorous sequences are being played out. It IS meant to be exaggerated at those particular scenes to make it humorous.
She was totally cold and serious when serious parts were being played out.
Like what is wrong with you? Do I have to tell you guys this also that for comedic purposes, the speech, expressions and tone ARE exaggerated? And since the first 2 episodes had quite a few such scenes, she was bound to show theses traits more often? You could atleast wait for 2 more episodes before you solidify this as an "all the time" fact
She didn't have the "over-the-top expression" when she was smashing the deities,or addressing the rich guy client Moreover her character is meant to show immaturity and youth something she doesn't want to let go of.
Another thing, raising one corner of her mouth always is an indirect way of communicating her smugness and pride, which is called a smirk. She does that when people or things don't go according to her way or question her actions.
Why don't you TELL us how the character should actually be portrayed? I would love to hear what differences and inclusions would provide a better interpretation to this character.
What can we say. Being a female celebrity in such a society has got to be one the most mentally exhausting jobs. You couldn't pay me any amount to be one honestly.
I do have a question though. How would you want her to actually act out such a character who is meant to be extravagant, extra , self-centered, selfish, immature, quirky, energetic and bratty? How should this character be enacted for her to also be able to turn such character-traits seem funny when comedic scenes are being played out and as well as seem serious when the temperament of the drama shifts?
And before you get triggered like last time, it's not sarcastic, just wanting to know what differences would have not made you come to this conclusion and how would you have preferred it being acted out. And if you can't mention what needs to be changed with strong and practical reasons, your claim is unfounded.
The screenwriters wrote this and they are mentioned below the cast, so scroll up and get informed.
What? You are literally making zero sense? When did I imply that you telling me to "educate yourself " was because of you feeling attacked?
You specifically wrote in your second comment that I am going after your language as I can't "debunk your points". You were the one who brought up that perspective when I wasn't even attacking your language. And why are you getting so touchy and agitated over a mere comment? It's totally fine to ignore at times. Please atleast reread your replies before jumping to write another one.
The episode being over or under expository is not my topic of discussion nor has it been since my first reply.
