That's according to you. You all consume any media without thinking deeply about it that doesn't mean no one shoud. Sorry I have brains and I use it in everything I watch.

I wish to write, I will write. Go cry elsewhere

Someone tell 15569158 it's not that deep💔
First of all those comments are for people who are criticising stuff without actually observing the points shown in the two episodes.

And there are MANY such people here.

Secondly, Why are you so bothered? Those who want to read will do so and who don't they can ignore. Don't you have stuff to do? Why are you so nosy for no freaking reason?
You jealous that you can't write or what?
Don't try to police what I write.

And stop liking your own comments it looks dumb.
If its that bothering to you that you have to make a separate comment, block me.

Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
Okay regarding the fate switch, here is what I understood. Eunho did not change any rules. Remember, how she exclaimed…
We will have to wait and see how it actually unfolds.

However she said the same sentence to that rich chaebol guy. And since his wish was regarding the rights for a construction site it was much more easier and had hardly any butterfly effect for the completion of that specific wish ( not taking into account that he got drunk afterwards and had an accident which changed the fates)

However I feel the fulfilling of his friends wish was much more complicated as it envolved the fates of them both and it's fulfillment was bound to end up in a similar situation regardless

Maybe due to this she might actually be turned into a human?

CRITICISM #3

#Way too much backstory and explanation regarding Eunho

Explanation:
Even though the amount of scenes regarding her backstory in the first episode may seem much to some people, there may be a deeper reason.

We know Eunho is a Gumiho and it might seem that we might not need much information, but here is the thing.
She is not a regular Gumiho. Since the writers gave her a 360 degree turn from the widely spread concept of Gumiho, they HAD to show HOW exactly.
They used various eras and different scenarios to provide her a personality and give a briefing on her beliefs and opinions while incorporating humorous elements which balanced the deep undertones.

Her constant shifting of hobbies, styles and pursuits showed a very important point. Eunho didn't like to stick to something or grow attached to anything, she always kept herself busy , as if she is scared to be just by herself. It's almost like a distraction.

Her powers are also very vast compared to previous counterparts, so what things she can manipulate and to what extent is needed in this case.

It was also necessary to imply the limitations and effects of her powers both directly and indirectly

And as I have explained her character traits, even though the scenes had humorous elements it was a way of showing and hinting at Eunho's lonely life.

MOREOVER as we know she will turn into a human, it was needed to show why she would be so desperate to turn back into a Gumiho. What privileges she will miss out and how big of a contrast it is to living as a human.
For I think, for next 6 ep she will probably live as a Human

2] CRITICISM #2

#Eunho talks too fast

Explanation:
In theatrics it is common to have different speeds of speech allocated to different characters.
To people who don't know, speech tells a lot about a character before any background is provided.
A faster speed of speech is often shows excitement , pride, confidence, strong sentiments regarding something as well as superiority in a conversation.
Example: Often used in Sci fi films when a scientist explains stuff and have to be slowed down and told to explain it in a simpler manner

Eunho here speaks fast at times to show she is absolutely confident with what she has to say and what she means by it. It also a testament to the fact that she feels she knows humans so well she doesn't need to actually think through her words before saying. Almost like a reflex, for she has done it hundreds of time.

It also is a indicator to the fact she doesn't care if the other party understands what she is saying or not. A subtle power play and a way to manipulate. Leaving the listener in doubt as they couldn't catch on resulting in them feeling nervous.

You are free to ignore it, why bother typing ?

And I mentioned it is for people who don't have perception skills and cannot understand anything until it's kept right in front of them.
I guess you fall into that category dear rotten Echinodermata

Here I go
1] CRITICISM #1

#Eunho's personality
*self- centered
*selfish
*treating humans like commodities
*Only living for luxuries and pleasures of human life
*annoying (according to some people)

[Explanation for people who never analyzed any kind of literature]

The main basis for any plot to progress and make the pivotal character have depth and emotion is give them FLAWS. This is a major component which makes a character have more nuance and three- dimentionality.
What makes a character feel more real? Giving a root point or causation for the flaw.

Till now we have seen her act and present her beliefs which will classify her as a gray character.
HOWEVER as she is not actually a human, her standards of morality is not subjected to human standards.
Another interesting fact, originally Gumiho's are described cunning, sly and selfish.

Two MAJOR plot points which may hint why she is currently the way she is:
*Something traumatic which took place in Geumho's life that resulted in her despising the life of humans.

* Geumho abandoning her after turning into a human and asking her to never show her face. She may have directly associated this action to be the result of her turning into a human.

*Something that the deities had made her believe and an event broke her trust in them and made her a rebel and a being outside of the heavens as mentioned by the Shaman. She harbours deep grudge against the deities

Now the effect of such events.

*She is actually very lonely and the only way she decides to try to subdue the feeling is keeping herself indulged in worldly pleasures and try to convince herself that the life she is living is what everyone would kill to live.

To support this claim: She asks the person she asks to be her friend for a day at the mall to take her side as well as say that her life is actually the best, with MAGIC.
She purposefully avoids listening to any opinion that doesn't make her feel her life is the epitome of living.

*Since her trust were broken and she felt abandoned by people close to her, hence the only one left was herself. She started to do only as she pleased and VALUED herself and herself only. Hence she becomes selfish and self oriented. It is kind of a coping mechanism for her.

She fears of abandonment and betrayal. Hence, she avoids all kinds of emotional connection with anyone.

To support the claim: She removed the day's memory from the girl at the mall. She has not a single person who she is close to or has any close acquaintance.
She only surrounds or meets with humans to pass time and keeps no further contact.
She wants to buy an entire island and plans to live alone.

*She may seem annoying according to some people, which comes from the fact she refuses things that doesn't go according to her ways or the fact that she treats human life carelessly.
She doesn't want to turn into a human because of the above mentioned reasons and hence to prove to herself that her decision is right she doesn't let a single factor doubt herself, wanting to make everything go how she wants.
She hates losing and things not going her way even if she needs to use magic , she ends up manipulating stuff. This may stem from the fact that "Winning" is the only that may help her feel worthy.

She considers things going her Way as a "win"

Now, The hatred for living as a human and not taking humans more than a tool to gain money comes down to the fact that she has developed a sense of loathing to humans and their life. Why?
Remember how all her clients are very rich?
Sorry, not sorry but most very rich people aren't the best humans and their wishes wouldn't have provided a very good representation of humanity.
Most if not all the wishes showed her the worst sides of humanity: greed
The life of Geumho is also a stark reminder of her possible future if she decides to become one

To support the claim: She is taken aback when Siyeol says he has no wish, A very different response to what she has seen since centuries.

Another major reason for her personality is to present a PARALLELISM to an Outlook to life promoted among the young generations specially related to owning materialism and living according to one's own accord, rejecting what is expected of them or what they are told is fated.

Another parallelism is the gradual change from teenage to adulthood, When you are expected by elders that to become an adult human you need to leave the "childishness" which points to abandoning things you love, want or desire which are now not accepted since you are now an ADULT.

Eunho's refusal to living modestly or following the framework of her life according to someone and doing as she pleases is a parallel to that zest of Gen Zs. She will not be who the deities want to be rather she will decide who she will live as.

##Eunho also represents the stubbornness and refusal to look at another point of view or outlook of life because she is scared of change and, the consequences and effects of change.

Also the uncertainty of life presented when life thrusts you out of the comfort zone.
The safety of being a Gumiho and living in comfort of a known life where there is no uncertainty regarding the future looks very appealing to her.

Doesn't it sound similar? It is what we face as adults when life is never stagnant or constant. We always crave stability and when we get that the fear of losing it makes us hold on it more.

All in all the character of Eunho is heavily set up to give her depth, realization and a significant character development. The title itself signifies that. She is going to actually learn and feel what being an actual human is. Her fears and beliefs are gonna be addressed and finally we will get a good character arc for her. Lastly,Siyeol is going to play a major role in this

So what was the downside to that evil guy's wishes? He only ever got what he wanted and paid her in return. Why…
Okay regarding the fate switch, here is what I understood.
Eunho did not change any rules. Remember, how she exclaimed at the hospital that the fates changed after lost a chunk of her spiritual power?
Siyeol was not meant to be successful, rather it was his friend. However, due to fulfilling the rich client's wish, both of their fates were changed due to the accident caused by the client. This caused an alternate fate. She had said another thing, she cannot change the future which means the ultimate fate cannot be changed. However the person experiencing the fate can be.

Now what can go is, the friend wishes that the accident never happens.
This will result in the original fate to continue it's path, hence the futures of both of them is reversed.

Another note, I think he didn't forget her as he comments to himself that she didn't change a bit. It will probably be a plot twist or something as he still kept that yellow suitcase

Agreed! It is nauseating to see women bringing other women down. As if the patriarchy needed our help smh
Like are we actually gonna bring other women down for a mere man ?
Those times are long over as it should be.

Before i start, what i want to write is regarding having a real conversation regarding the toxic beauty standards imposed on women.

I have noticed that women actresses are usually the main targets regarding looks, like all they are meant to be are just their looks and body. Interestingly their male counterparts hardly even go through such rigorous attacks on them regardless of whether they are conventionally attractive or not.
The same people who criticise an actress's looks are the same people who come out writing long paragraphs on how perfect the actor's acting, passion and potential is.
First attack to degrade a woman is always her looks, isn't that so pathetic?
And as if women don't have enough problems to deal with that we need to make "looks" such a big of a deal that it barricades people from achieving their dreams. Why should we follow beauty standards set up by men to know our worth and to judge other's worth?

You know what is the saddest part ? These comments are mostly supported and made by women fans.

So before you try to make a comment on someone, ask yourself, would you say something similar if it was a man?

So brave of you to specifically rate this drama ONLY, when only 2 ep are out. Obsession is a deadly disease And…
Absolutely genius take!!!
Are you kidding me? No please freaking use your brain.
So you just randomly declare a drama masterpiece with only knowing 1/12th of the plot? How does this even make sense to you?

Okay, So do producers just greenlight a project after reading the script of one episode?

Your response to this question will let me know all I need to know.

Well your criticism was based on screenplay buddy, and that cannot be JUDGED based on 2 episodes alone.
Next time try to read slower, it seems you have a habit of missing things out.

Your personal preference regarding the suitability of the actor and actress is an opinion so next time try using phrases like "I think" or "according to me".
Geez, do people really not know how to really present opinions without sounding so definitive as if its a FACT?
What has the world come down to. I thought we were supposed to be evolving.
Anyway, criteria for casting solely stemming from looks sounds horribly shallow like your intelligence

So brave of you to specifically rate this drama ONLY, when only 2 ep are out.
Obsession is a deadly disease

And 2/3 of your points are just personal attacks.

Second, screenplay cannot be JUDGED based on 2 episodes alone, When the writers specifically mentioned the main story starts from ep 3.

Wouldn't kill you to wait for atleast 2 more episodes to present such an opinion.
It is equivalent to reading two chapters of a book and then calling it trash.

Another thing, did the writers specifically come and give you the script, cause you sound so sure it IS knock off My Demon.
Surprise, but both the dramas are produced by SBS. I wonder how the tag of knock off fits into this scenario now ?

Get some help buddy cause you do act like are in desperate need of it.

Regardless I will still write and explain stuff so others can copy and paste the explanation if someone tries to randomly criticise something without actually understanding it's significance.

It will atleast help the recent visitors understand the problem is actually the perception skills of the viewers

Okay, after going through all the comments I realized something, people don't have patience and also don't have perception to understand certain plot points. So I am going to explain certain plot points and plot choices that went totally over these people's brain.

Hence people who never actually studied literature and hence don't know how to connect plot points and logically connect the dots, I got you. Will be a huge paragraph, and i will try to write it and post it here in the next 4 hours.
So people, hold your horses and wait.

And by the time I complete, I am sure most of you will understand what I am talking about
