What do you mean the plot doesn't make sense? The plot is tight-knitted together, fast paced with conflicts getting resolve by the end of two episodes. And the acting is great, every character leaves a lasting impression. What do you mean she can't act? Huang Yang Tian Tian deserves a standing ovation with her performance as Chu Qiao because I can even see ZLY's Chu Qiao in her acting. So please stop insulting her.

That's why the title is Rebirth, after the frozen lake battle, they got reborn ( figuratively okay, not literally ) the frozen lake battle is the perfect plot point to restart the story. Since PA didn't follow Chu Qiao's origin and they didn't get to reveal or explore it, the production must have decided to tweak it so it can adapt in the current storyline.
