there are student/teacher romance stories in western shows too (eg. "pretty little liars", "the mess you leave…
Oh it was just an example I don't actually recommend it. I'd actually recommend "the mess you leave behind" more tbh. Or also the movie "Breath In". Miller's Girl is more dark with a pg18 warning. not because of any scenes but more so because of the stuff the girl and her teacher write one another.
As a relative newcomer to kdramas (2019/2020) in my eyes it's kinda like there are two kdrama eras: pre ca. 2016-2017…
absolutely agree with you. 2016 was when I started watching kdrama and truly the quality of the dramas from a camera/picture angle was extremely different compared to 2015 or 2014.
really really like the article! Well done and thank you for taking the time to write it! What I find always so striking with the Reply series is the similarities and differences between each time. Like how it was to be a teenager in 1988 or in 1997. And what my own teenage years looked like or how today's probably look like. It is fascinating to see so many similarities but at the same time so many differences.
the movie reminded me a lot of Nobody Knows but this one had a happier ending. I do think this could have been directed a little different, it did feel at times a bit too stretched. Though the acting was very well done, especially that of the child actresses 7,5/10
Well it actually was not a bad adaption. I really liked the first 4 episodes, had a couple of more trouble with the last 4 though but overall it was fine. The actors were very well casted. 8/10
OHHH!!!!!! I will definitely watch this! He was an absolute amazing Detective in Signal! And if we cannot get a 2nd season of Signal I take anything similarish :)
really really liked Son Suk Ku's performance in this one. He definitely became someone I am going keep an eye out now. Nine Puzzle sounds super interesting!
I think there will be a season 2. It makes no sense that Bale disappeared
I absolutely agree. I really enjoyed it too but I really would have enjoyed it if we had one more episode where what happened with the uncle was more fleshed out. See the drama was absolutely great but omitting everything with Bale and the uncle is like having an ice cream but it turns out to be made out of paper. I love open endings but that was not open. That was an empty one.

yeah! plus the uncle suddenly appearing and looking so beat up? It makes no sense. He had a knife wound to the neck when he "died". How did he turn up looking like someone that was in a car accident?
This was a really exciting drama. It is dark and serious and honestly? An absolute joy to see. It was very smartly done with the constant back and forth between the past and the present. It gave enough mysteries to keep on on the edge of the seat plus the FL did not become annoying this way, which would probably have happened if they had not done so. From all the actors I do think Lee Dong Wook was the best one. Absolutely loved his scenes but over all all did really well. The only big minus is the ending. What the heck was that? It made me more confused than ever. It seriously was out of the blue. Yeah, we thought it would happen but the way they did it, without giving any hint why or what happened....ahhhh it is a let down Are they hoping for a s2? I seriously hope so otherwise that ending really did the drama injustice. 9,5/10
This drama ruined the detective dramas after it for me. It set the bar that high, but I used to watch a lot of…
Watch Burning Ice, Watcher or Trinity of Shadows these were on par for me with Signal or try some Nordic crime dramas. They produce some amazing things :)
oh the trailer looks great! And Son Suk Ku is an absolute amazing actor! I have never seen Choi Woo Shik in a drama series though but I am curious to see how he does. Very excited for this one
he really has to be otherwise the drama makes no sense anymore.
ohhhhh yeah that could be it but if he did.... ah man......I don't know but I really hope that is not the reason. Coz he has got to know what danger he is putting Ji An in and even when she is capable of keeping herself alive......I dunno that does make it seem like he is willing to take any chances of Ji An's life just to get to Bale, which would again make his actions seem strange.
