Wow, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on it! I was on the fence about checking the webtoon, but I think I'll just save myself some needed time and do something else!

I still think the best thing about this drama is Baek Jin Sang's character growth and journey. I appreciated that not only did other characters hold him accountable for his actions, but that he did it to himself as well. Those were perhaps my favorite scenes. Where the realization crashed down on him that the pain he was feeling in that moment of vulnerability was something he himself had caused others to feel. It was refreshing to watch!

this article is good, but it won't change my mind. I've dropped this drama after 1st episode. It's just boring…
Thank you very much for reading, @aft3rgal3r! If you're still interested in the show, my advice would be to give it till episode 4-6 to see if you enjoy it. There's a lot of shows that I was tempted to drop at episode one, only to be surprised as I kept watching. I think if you approach the series understanding it's a satire, it might help with the humor. I'd say that the over the top absurd humor lessens by the halfway mark. By then you also get a lot of heartfelt moments that will surprise you.

Then again, this could also not be your cup of tea. I dropped What's Wrong with Secretary Kim by episode 12, having muscled through most of the series and just getting bored out of my mind. Yet, I seem to be in the minority with that one. Which just goes to show that there's a drama for everyone :) and, on the same note, a drama may not be for everyone.

Thanks for reading, All In!Though it's been overdone, I don't really mind the character helps obnoxious character…
It's the best theory I can come up with. Because it's either that or that the writers really just wanted to add drama for the sake of drama with the whole love triangle.

I usually like to see a show and then read the source material (or do it simultaneously), but I haven't checked out the webtoon with this one. Sometimes it makes the experience better to know the source material, as in the case of My ID is Gangnam Beauty. But this is only if the TV show is as good or better than the source material.

With the Beauty Inside, on the other hand, I watched the TV series and got a bit bored with it. Then I checked out the movie and it's a completely different story. I personally preferred the movie and I can see why a lot of people who'd seen the movie before the drama were even more disappointed than me.

this is such a well-written articles and those graphics? superb! i really enjoyed this drama and in fact, this…
Thank you so much, @blackmew! I am glad you enjoyed the graphics!

I agree with BJS. I particularly enjoyed the epilogue, since it shows change is not easy and he is still working at it. Really, his development was stellar!

As to Roo Da, I also agree. She lost some protagonism the moment the reset happened. Or rather, the moment she started dating KHJ. I think that's where the story became only about BJS. It's unfortunate how many times that happens in K-Dramas. But at least she stays relevant and starts to take part in what's happening after the reset (no memories and all).

As to Yoo Shi Baek, I actually thought she'd have more relevance after the reset. I thought BJS would have had more interactions with her, to truly learn what he did to her and how much it affected her. But she was pretty much ignored and then brought back at the end to give us a semi-explanation on why LRD was trapped in the time loop.

- I did enjoy the drama quite a bit. I'd put it at 8.5ish out of 10 and probably a full 9 for the first 6 or so…
Thanks for reading, All In!

Though it's been overdone, I don't really mind the character helps obnoxious character be better... If it's done right. If there's no accountability, it drives me mad. Thankfully here, it's all about accountability. And I think that's why i rated it higher. Because it's rare to find a show where characters aren't allowed to forget their mistakes, nor can they use a sob-story as their excuse for being an ass. So I also appreciate the lack of the "we knew each other as children bla bla bla".

And yes, our of nowhere the writers decided that LRD would like KJH. I suspect the reason behind that had more to do with using the webtoon as a red herring. Since, apparently, she does end up with him in that version of the story. Of course, everyone else (including me) found the decision strange because it wasn't explained in the TV show why she changed her mind.

Also agree about the corporate plot-line, which is why i added it to the flaws. It was rather messy, but at least I am glad it didn't took over the entire show!

Thanks, gbrd1!

Yeah, i read somewhere that she's always been in love with KJH in the webtoon, right?

Is there a version of the story (webtoon or TV show) you prefer? I like the TV show so much, I think I would have a hard time reading the vastly different story that seems to be the webtoon.

And yes, I think the writers may have used LRD suddenly liking KJH as a red herring for the people who have read the webtoon. Since, from what I've seen in the comments, she ends up with KJH there, doesn't she? Yet, it was still badly done since this was a separate story. The writers should've given it more thought. Or maybe they shouldn't have shown how annoyed LRD was with KJH's attention. That way the transition from annoyed to "smitten" wouldn't have lost me as much.

Having said that, the amusement park scene was hilarious lol.

Hahaha fair enough. I wish I could say he isn't annoying, but he unfortunately is. He really got the short end of the stick with this one. I'm unsure why the writers decided to have him act so childishly.

Thanks for pointing out the typo! I actually ended up changing the entire article hours before it was published because it used to be a currently watching article. But since there's no control over when it'll be published, I decided to change it into a review since the series ended. If you happen to see any others, please let me know! I keep finding errors every time I re-read it lol.

Great article. Sounds like a drama I could potentially enjoy ... under normal circumstances, but love triangles…
Thanks for reading, @PrettyCarEye. Although the love triangle is written pretty badly, it's not central to the story. It's like a sub-plot that's happening beside the story, which we glance towards every now and then. So if the only thing keeping you from giving this one a try, I would advice to go for it! Especially because the writing in this one is stellar in everything else (save the second male lead, but that could also be a matter of taste --manchild-like behavior makes me cringe a little).

I love this article and I loved the drama even if some people were annoyed by the love triangle it kept me invested…
Thank you very much, @Seokani! I honestly wouldn't have minded the love triangle if the writers had made it clearer when (and why) LRD suddenly changed her mind and started dating KJH. I really felt like that came out of nowhere. (Plus there was a whole discussion in the comments section about the webtoon, which it seems, is a totally different story from this one!)

I also wished KJH had been written better. He was one of the weakest characters for now. Unfortunately, the version of him I started to like got wiped by the reset. And with it, all his growth into becoming a good CEO.

Having said that, I still thoroughly enjoyed the drama and wouldn't think twice about recommending it!

Such a well-written article! Beautiful gifs and excellent analysis! Once again, you nailed it! If those who haven't…
Thank you very much for the support, @Penel! Yeah, tbh, I struggled to find real flaws with the show. Save for the second male lead, the love triangle and the whole MW Chicken's plot-line, everything was solid. However, I recalled reading in the comments section some comments regarding the humor and the acting --which some people found silly. So I decided to include it in the flaws just as a heads up. Though really, that would more accurately be "things to consider" rather than flaws.

I have too many ideas for my next article (I'm having fun contributing!) but I think I'll go with my originally planned "Common Visual Cues found in K-dramas". This one will be a bit more intense --similar to the come and hug me one-- but hopefully I'll make it worthwhile. I just need to finish getting enough examples so I can cover the visual cues I've picked up from watching various dramas.

Thank you, @Jonasan Barugasu! Indeed, they showed some great writing skills by being able to expose difficult subjects through humor. Save for the second male lead, I really enjoyed everyone's characters and acting in this one. Even the uncle was a good addition, though he reminded me a lot of his role in Jugglers which makes me question whether he was type-casted.

Your articles are always the best, thank you for your hard work!I watched the first episode of Feel Good To Die…
Thank you very much, @Minarii! If you are willing, do give the show a second try. I think if you go in with the mindset that this is a satire, it will make things easier. You'll know not to take some of the things that happen to seriously, while at the same time realizing that there's a lot of food for thought this show serves us.

If you do decide to watch, let me know what you think about it!
