For me I just get bored if there's nothing else besides romance (and it felt like that for the most part with WWWSK).
What I liked about this show is that the story is bigger than just the romance. It's about healing and the characters (in different ways) having to pick up their lives after a tragedy and figure out how to be happy again. These types of shows are perfect to warm the heart :).
I like this drama, though I am glad it's over this week, because pushing it for more episodes would drag the story unnecessarily.
What I would say is that now that Mi Rae and Soo Ah have been wearing those shirts that leave their shoulders exposed... Well it muddles the whole issue with the waitress "uniforms". Those shirts are, after all, pretty similar to the ones they were forced to used. Just wished there was more consistency there.
And I still maintain that giving Mi Rae "dancing skills" was a bad call. It added nothing of true substance to the story. They should've kept the focus on her love for perfume. After all, the idea behind that was that she loved the "shapeless beauty" of perfume. Dancing, on the other hand, is all about the visual.
I honestly still watching this drama because of the male lead cute face. If that wasn´t the case, i wouldn´t…
I am glad it's not like WWWSK, otherwise I wouldn't be able to take all that fluff and cheese and would've also dropped it...
So there's a story for everyone. Personally, I am enjoying this one much more than WWWSK (forced myself to get to episode 12 before I couldn't take it any longer).
Great Article here are some of mineI Hate it when....-The female is badass and then they make her a damsel in…
Agree with the sentiment about "Are You Human Too?". She was supposed to be his bodyguard but she ended up getting sidelined more and more as the story progressed. Her MMA skills never came into play when it mattered either.
Great article and I agree with all of them. Would personally add:
I HATE it when... -FL's "friend" or "family member" meddles too much and becomes a barrier separating the couple. Usually they act in "favor" of what they assume is best for the FL. But in so doing, they decide for the FL and keep her in the dark. Ex. FL's manager in Queen In Huyn's Man and FL's mother in Lawless Attorney. -There's no accountability for ML's actions. If he was a jerk, then he needs to apologize. But usually the FL takes him back like nothing. What I loved about Lawless Lawyer is that when ML hides things from the FL, she calls him out on it and there's a consecuence (he loses her trust). -When the FL is sidelined halfway through the story and she becomes little more than the ML's "cheerleader" (ex. Healer, City Hunter, etc). -When there's no consistency between what they say and what they show. We are told the FL is an excellent swimmer who wants to join the Olympics... But throughout the series she almost drowns 2x (oh, leg cramps!) and loses a swimming competition against a potter... (boys over flowers). Or we are told the FL is a stuntwoman who knows a lot of martial arts, but she can't break away from a wrist grab by a puny looking guy (hey there, Secret Garden). -Filler episodes. -We get together, break up, get together, break up only to get back together... I hate it. It draws out a story unnecessarily and gets really boring and frustrating to watch (Just between lovers). -Adults behaving like children (throwing temper tantrums or talking like babies). I don't find it cute, it's just really cringy (ex. Witch's Love drunk scene. Wok of Love drunk scene, the whole show of Twenty Again, etc.)
I LOVE it when: -There's a good, consistent story throughout the drama (ex. Black, Suspicious Partners, Lawless Attorney, Come and Hug Me, Age of Youth, etc.). -When there's a strong mom character (Another Miss Oh, Come and Hug Me, etc.) -When the show is more focused on justice than revenge (Lawless Lawyers, Suspicious Partner, Healer, Come and Hug Me, Voice, Signal, etc.) -Villains that aren't born, but made. Therefore they are a shade of Grey you can sympathize with to a certain extent (ex. Cruel City, Healer, Suspicious Partners, You're all Surrounded). -Shows with consistent pacing. (ex. Voice, come and hug me, lawless Lawyer, Queen In Huyn's Man, You are all surrounded) (shows with bad pacing: Signal (first half is really slow, second half is great), Jealousy Incarnated (drags)).
Okay, now I have a new theory with the latest episode. I think Dok Ki only exists in Kang Woo's head.1. Dok Ki…
After re-watching the first two episodes, this theory is void. I guess it was just bad editing not showing Dok-Ki enter Kang Woo's apartment that night of the chicken (when the detectives where checking the CCTV footage).
Dok Ki has been left pretty vague as a character, though. So there might be something there.
Liking someone based on looks and appearance is not wrong.. though it might be wrong if you only like someone…
Oh, i never said it was wrong. I am pointing out that guy's hypocrisy in hating her for the same thing he is doing. He likes Soo Ah for her face, yet poses value in his eyes because she dares to like someone handsome.
As to the guy who dumped Tae Har, he's also a jerk no question. Though I saw that one coming a mile away, unfortunately.
But on ep 1 (or is it ep 2?), Kwon Joo told Kang Woo in that interview room that she heard someone badmouthing…
Yes, but if Dok Ki (who mentioned he was 24, I think) is someone in Kang Woo's head, he can have his own personality and profile (but he's still imaginary). He could have been born as a symptom of schizophrenia.
Some early warning signs of schizophrenia which Kang Woo exhibits, include: > Hearing or seeing something that isn’t there > A constant feeling of being watched > Deterioration of academic or work performance > Increasing withdrawal from social situations > Irrational, angry or fearful response to loved ones > Inability to sleep or concentrate > Inappropriate or bizarre behavior (if you consider his angry temper tantrums, including pushing the pedophile off the stairs).
(?) I remember Dok Ki questioning the criminal, the one with mental illness who tries to set an explosion in the…
I don't remember him questioning the subject. However, if he did, the key lies in whether the subject acknowledged Dok Ki or not. Meaning, did the subject answer his questions?
But on ep 1 (or is it ep 2?), Kwon Joo told Kang Woo in that interview room that she heard someone badmouthing…
It could be that the other cops were badmouthing and Kang Woo assumed it was Do Ki.
I need to watch the first episode again, because I think the only time Dok Ki was acknowledged was when the hacker guy from the Golden team did a background check. I think he mentioned he was an ex con.
However, aside from that he hasnt been acknowledged at all. Not even by the masked man. You'd think he would want to get rid of him first if Dok Ki was real.
The more I think about it, the less real Dok Ki seems. Even when he came out of jail, the golden team detectives didn't even see him. They even closed the van's door in his face.
It is based on a real case and drug (it's a brazilian drug called flakka, aka the zombie drug). In 2012, a naked…
That's valid. I think they should've sticked with only the drug instead of the whole "terror channel" because it did felt overly dramatic and convoluted.
Should I watch season 1 first, or they’re unrelated?
I would advise that you watch season 1 because it's extremely good! Plus you get to know and care for some of the characters who returned for this season.
Okay, now I have a new theory with the latest episode. I think Dok Ki only exists in Kang Woo's head.
1. Dok Ki hasn't had a conversation with anyone except Dok Ki. 2. He suddenly disappears without a reason. 3. He conveniently doesn't have much of a backstory. I mean Kang Woo is very antisocial, yet he has that one friend who trusts him 100%. 4. But the biggest and latest clue was in episode 10. When Kang Center was watching the CCTV video of the night she brought Kang Woo Chicken. Dok Ki arrived with food and walked into the apartment after Kang Woo. But in the video, he isn't there. Kang Woo was alone.
I thought he mainly shifted attitudes when he found out that Soo A was just using him. Nevertheless his feelings…
Yes! Well, that guy is in a whole new ballpark when it comes to delusions (and danger level)!
He's probably posting those pictures on a forum. I think those pictures are called "creep shots" (I remember I read about it some years ago). I know some forums like Reddit keeps having to shut down those threads. It's very disturbing.

My two cents.
