this is so good! villains have the perfect quantity of screen time and the rest is dedicated to great characters, didn’t even feel the need to skip any scenes cuz it was so interesting to watch!!

in the novel no one dies and he just comes back from war later, that ending scene implying that he died should’ve not been there, even with plot armour he can’t fight an entire army so by no interpretation we can have an happy ending which would be both of them ALIVE. I agree that i was meaningless to film the extra happy ending.

yeah again it was either the producer or the directors choice to film that ‘for fun’ and then add it even tho everyone was against it😭😭😭 i don’t know why they need to kill off people that accompanied us for 40 episodes in the last 10 minutes THERE IS NO MORALE

do NOT trust anyone who says the plot is too difficult or too political, everything is clearly explained and all characters are introduced very nicely. Got a bit of second hand embarrassment watching the last scene of them singing loll, but still i love a shameless ml x righteous fl combo😭😭 watch this guys it’s super good!!!

this should’ve ended with 30 GREAT episodes😭😭😭 the FL exposing them at court with the buffoon brother saying ‘she’s lying i don’t know’ was off putting lol plus Chu zhao and the voices in his head😭😭 i still loved and never skipped anything until the last few episodes which became boring as heck

i checked the novel out and i feel like the translation doesn’t do it any justice😭😭 i was talking to a chinese friend of mine who told me mandarin is extremely difficult to translate in english cuz english is a basic language with not many connotations😭 don’t get me wrong i still enjoyed blossom!! especially the first 20 episodes, but i’m more into a more yearning type of love that goes throughout the whole thing yk🥹 i watched the prisoner of beauty after this and that is more what i enjoy!! if u haven’t a watched it u should give it a try :) 🥰

i think the story could’ve wrapped with way less episodes but i can’t remember what i meant when i said slow paced in my og comment😭😭😭 i definitely feel like we needed more action based scenes cuz as the OG OG comment said there was something missing😭 even the main characters chemistry was wasted on a chill happily married for 50 years couple dynamic. There is one review here by user caramel and i agree with most of their statements :(

yk i started watching something else meanwhile and i think that what we are missing is a comic relief character, the ML bsf is a fun guy but he doesn’t have enough scenes

yeah exactlyyyy it was a bit too mundane for a drama imo, i still finished it but it’s missing something that helps people get hooked
