The MV has a scene where it seems like QXX is in his mind sea knocked out IRL & sees a bunch of feathers falling down then he wakes up & spreads the wings so maybe that's when he accepts/activates that power? There's a scene that looks like Qian disintegrating tho...this better not be BE/OE ;; please

I see the Qi ancestor with white hair bih smacking Yan in the new MV for ZLH & Jiang Long's OST. It seems like the fairy & Qian are there are well so it must be in the mirror realm or something? I guess the fairy is trying to bring the ancestor back. My friend thinks that maybe that ancestor is Huzi's father. It would be interesting since that would make them related I think? I'm confused how he became a hero though & his connection to the demon emperor. I don't remember the details from earlier eps that well so I probably just need to wait for it to unfold.

I was thinking though that I can't really think of a way to give Yan & Qian an HE since the 1 thing their sister was right about is that the mirror captivity is pretty inhumane. My best case scenario would be if there's actually some way for the 2 souls to accept 1 another & merge. My realistic guess is that they'll make up but in danger Yan will sacrifice himself to save Qian.

I think I was remembering the trailer instead of credits. I just knew it was in something official for the drama. Nice. I can't wait to see that b*tch sister & dad's faces if it turns out they're really part demon. They'll crash down from their high horse so hard

There are clips of QXX with wings in the credits. I could be forgetting but have we seen him with those wings yet? They look like Huzi's tail so it definitely seems like a demon thing lol

And ALL CGI effects & even costumes look more expensive. I will never understand why Youku spends all this money on dramas then kills the quality upon viewing due to low video quality ;;

Same feeling watching the 4K60fps version I found recently ;;. There are seriously things that I didn't even SEE the first 2-3 times due to video quality like 1.0's cape falling off & being disintegrated as he flew to the center of Guixu & the details on 2nd Prince's weapon as he attacked YT & MYQ lol.

I got stuck there too for 2 months bc I didn't want to face what came next but the final arc actually became my 2nd fave after shards arc so I definitely recommend you finishing it <3

I actually stopped mid-ep 33 during airing & read all the spoilers but didn't finish everything until this week because my health is chronically poor. Totally agree with your description & I'm actually glad I waited a while because 1) I had made more peace with the OE & was much less upset than I would have been during airing & 2) I literally cried so much (prob 40 min out of the finale) that I feel like there's no water left to expel from my body. I thought I was already being generous rating 9.5 in spite of the OE but the last 8 eps were so surprisingly strong & I'm still so emotionally attached to the story & characters that I'm changing my final rating to 10.

Yeah whatever is coming up that fast I'd guess/hope is just a cameo or photoshoot or something. I think it's way too soon for another drama

To me HDL ending made sense for the whole of the story. I actually don't mind BE or OE that fit the vibe of the drama...that balance well with the rest of the story...but TSL OE was not that IMO. I wish they'd at least kept YQ visiting the places with their memories after her death. Even the filming clips of him imagining her & hugging the hallucination are such great callbacks to MYQ imagining her & MYQ & LM desperately missing & hugging her when she returned. Showing even a glimpse of YQ welcoming her revived form back would have been a nice balance to her meeting 2.0 as well. They really could have wrapped things up so beautifully & they wasted their opportunity I'm so frustrated. I love 90+ percent of the show so much that I'm leaving my pre-finale rating of 9.5 where it is...but it could have been a 10 if only they'd stuck the landing.

I think Lamu is still #1 but MYQ reallllly crept up on me & is just a hair behind Lamu now. When he started imagining her when he thought she left him ;; then he pinched her cheek to make sure she was real...my heart started doubling in size then "You smiled...it's all worth it" after their shopping date. Finally him talking about what to name their kids ;;. Lamu touches the purest part of our hearts but her relationship with MYQ felt the most real & lived in to me out of the 3.

I'm down to 1-5% hope hah & that's overstating it TBH but there are translations of the happy novel extras on Twitter. I think the author specifically shared them to comfort drama fans too even tho it's technically for the novel. I linked it in the spoiler thread.

I really wish Youku would stop baiting us on social media asking if we're happy with the ending...there's even a giveaway where you enter your own perfect ending that you write for them. Like just give us proper closure instead of rubbing salt in our wound lol.
