Right but, from what I can tell, there isn't really a system put into place for what can be recommended and what can't be. I've seen plenty of shows being recommended in those list for arbitrary reasons that makes no sense.
However, I can see where the similarities lies for Ruyi Pavilion. They're both historical romance centered around a female protagonist with the ability to foresee the future with her dreams. But we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how similar it is.
I'm definitely interested in this drama and can't wait to watch it! I've been watching a lot of disappointing dramas lately and I hope they don't resort to common troupes.
Also, I hope the dream seer ability of hers is used properly and not sidelined after the first few episodes.
Enough of it... I am international fan. Can Chinese people just stop it already. I agree with you..like what's…
From what I can tell a big issue with her acting is she isn't choosing roles suitable for her. I remember watching people praise her acting in 'Twenty Your Life On'. Her characters' are either too plain and bland, or they don't fit her.
On episode 10 and I really don't like the female lead. I know the ML will fall for her but her actions seem really excessive. She likes the man because she thinks he's hot and tries to get together with him. He rejects her and she won't stop bothering him. If she wasn't the MC she could've easily been the stalker character.
Her heads in the cloud about romance and I can't wait to see if she grows out of it.
I'm curious about "the ending falls flat" because I heard it several times. Why do you think so? (personally,…
I liked the ending too but when compared to the rest of the story it falls flat in comparison. The flow of the story near the end is a bit fractured and doesn't flow as well. One issue a lot of people have with the ending is the amount of time spent on Shi Guang's breakdown. Most people felt like they should've allocated more time to Shi Guang and Chu Ying's final meeting and set up a better conclusion to their story.
If you're interested you should go watch AvenueX's review on the drama., she goes into why people thought the ending was lacking.
Based on the other comments, the female lead was randomly added in? I don't get why they have to do that, it's frustrating! Can't they leave the original work as it is and just hit us with strong bromance? I'm personally not a strong fan of BL but I hate that they sacrificed the plot for the sake of covering it up?
That being said, I rather like Bambi Zhu so I like Mu Qing's character. However, I do find it bothersome when they make changes to a already established story like this. The newly added character is always inconsistent and their foundation is weak.
I'm impressed, this is probably the best adaptation China has made so far. While the ending falls flat in comparison to the other episodes, they did a really good. It follows true to the original story for the most part and the added details that help carry it through the setting.
I've heard from someone that Mu Qing's character was just added? Why why why did they add her? SHE IS SOOOOOO…
Probably the same reason they added a female lead into 'My Roommate is a Detective". The female lead was completely unnecessary, inconsistent, and added nothing to the plot but she was still there.
These names aren't too bad in chinese but the english translations tend to be a tad bit overused....Like this…
Probably and I think they just don't know what to translate it into. A lot of times the actual title and the translated title have nothing to do with each other but 'Eternal Love' just sounds nice.
I'm getting sick of all these titles with "Of Love" or any type of "Love" in it lol, they need to be more creative…
These names aren't too bad in chinese but the english translations tend to be a tad bit overused.... Like this drama is called 'Eternal Love Rain' but it could've also gone by there other title 'Peerless Rain'
As the dad said, it was an accident. This is quite typical of Lakorn when someone gets the blame for an accident.…
Lol no, the car exploded. Unless the truck driver pulled her out or she somehow survived the explosion (but probably received 3rd degree burns) she's dead. But since this is drama land... maybe she did manage to live through it all and is just in hiding. She was running away from home and maybe chose to stay dead. Though I'm not sure she would've been okay with putting her family (and boyfriend) though all that grief.
I think they're going to have GEF find out that the company the MC was desperate to startup at the beginning of the drama was his girlfriend's dream. MC wasn't building it for herself but rather to fulfill her dead sister's aspirations. He's going to go berserk after learning that he was the one that destroyed his dead girlfriend's goal. Then he's going to repent and realize that the family he was targeting was also grieving for her death and that everything he did was wrong.

Yeah, finally saw how to accident happened. GEF really should've gone after the truck driver, not Lu Yue's family. She probably would've broken up with him if she was there and saw what he was doing to her family. Lu Yue literally called out Lu Ning's name before death... the sisters were close to each other. I doubt she would've wanted anyone to manipulate and hurt her sister like that.

I've never questioned their business skills more so than this year. I seriously wonder if the people who run these companies have common sense. Some times they make decisions that are completely non-nonsensical and seem very short-sided.
From what I can tell, this is a drama that will be produced and filmed by Chinese people. The two currently listed actor/actress is also from China. It's unlikely Americans will partake in the creation of this drama.
There really shouldn't be a reason for the Mulan on this story to face racism if she is returning to her home village. I can imagine people ostracizing her because of sexism but not racism. So I was curious why they mention that.

In 'fake princess,' there is one MC. She goes from pauper to princess because the other girl jumps of the cliff (pretty sure that girl is dead).
Truth and dare (based on the original drama) will be about two girls who are accidentally married sent to the wrong place.

And at what point (episode) does he realize that she's from the future
And what point does he learn that she isn't predicting the future but from it?
