Korn & Knock in TWM were both drunk and both were active participants, so I don't see that as rape at all. Kengkla and Techno, Kengkla planned the situation, Techno was almost passed out and out of it and that was, sadly, very much rape. I agree. To make it worse, Kengkla used the fact that he was a minor to blackmail Techno into a relationship with him. It was very disturbing and played for comedy. I have no idea how the writers thought that was OK in the same episode they showed someone scarred for life by a rape.

Yes. That scene coming after a scene about the trauma of rape was very wrong.

I guess it's their dynamic. I personally am more like Pete and a guy asking me for permission all the time is a huge turn off. If we are in a relationship and I have expressed that I like that, go for it! :) Perhaps it's because I am Brazilian and I guess Latinos and East Asians have that in common, but if your man is a bit jealous, it's very sexy. I never felt Ae went overboard. He wasn't hurting him.

This surpassed all my expectations. I was waiting for the regular BL melodrama and clichés and they never came. Every episode managed to surprise me.

You took that completely out of context (the punish comment). That was a couple's banter. Ae and Pete had multiple conversations before they ever had sex. In fact, they talked over every single question in their relationship, in a very realistic manner, and had a very healthy relationship where they had discussions about everything, and, while neither was perfect and made mistakes, they always made amends and compromised. It was a very, very healthy relationship. Eve Ae being very dominant sexually was something they had discussed, as Pete asked him to stop asking and just do it, because asking made him feel embarrassed.

I have no defence for the episode 14th scene between Kengkla and Teachno, though. That one made me uncomfortable too.

I completely disagree. If they had them artificially breaking up in the final run just for the sake of drama, like most series do, it would have been awful. I loved the concept of showing their "happily ever after", so to speak, while relegating the drama to a different storyline. That gave us incredible episodes, like episode 12, where they have an iconic scene and we still have drama provided by a different storyline.

True. The fluffy and unrealistic accusations were unfair because this was one of the few relationships in BL where you see the couple talk about the obstacles in their relationship and work it out, but it was also realistic that a magical happy ending didn't happen for the couple that had not set it up one.

I really loved the final conversation and the final montage. So beautiful. It made me think of why I love this series so much.

Watching the uncut version with the subtitles, I really think Tin and Can did not belong together. However, I was heartbroken to leave Tin on that note. I wish he had a sece with Pete that they could talk about that even after falling for Trump and how that turned out, Pete eventually found someone and so would Tin.

I think Can is too immature for Tin. I mean. Pete and Ae had many differences and questions to figure out and as late as episode 13 they were having disagreements they had to talk over to sort out. But both have the maturity to hold an open, adult conversation and both very clear on what they want, while still willing to compromise. Can doesn't seem like he really wants to be in a relationship with Tin. At least not the kind that Tin wants. They both pretending that is OK and that is enough would be a recipe for disaster, at least at this point in their lives. Tin was right to end it.

TinCan fans are just more vocal.

It was their series from episode 1 to 11. They were a very realistic couple, who worked through their issues and built a beautiful relationship. Plus, they have more chemistry than a bottle of Coca-Cola!

Not to get anyone's hopes up, but he didn't really say there wouldn't be a season 2. Only that he wouldn't return to direct it. I still don't think a season 2 will happen, though.

Korn and Knock treat each other terribly, showcase zero chemistry, act like children who won't talk, but only pout and sulk. Think how badly two people could treat a significant other and one of the two or both is doing that to the other. The tone is a mess, juggling overwrought melodrama and slapstick comedy without much consistency. The story has giant plot holes that ignore the other seasons. Fans say it's serious and realistic, but, actually, it's not. Some plots are really outlandish. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say regular engineers in real life don't have fan clubs this organised and involved in their lives.

Max from Together With Me is straight, while Tul declares that love for him is beyond gender. Yet Max really went for it in Together With Me (the good season) for some scorching scenes. He said he studied acting and really prepared - the kisses in Bar Romance had been awkward - to portray the character truly. I think that when you take a part, you really need to go for it.

Not every straight actor successfully portrays a gay character if they can't let go of any hang-ups.
