As I said above, there are evil people in this drama but their evilness is "weak plotted." They can't outwit anyone and straight out get caught red-handed. The crown princess did it because of her jealousy but then she turns to the good side once Chen Ji dies and realized her mistake. Like literally, her intelligence is limited on so many levels. For example, she could have had someone expose the relationship between and crown prince and Chen Ji but nawh, she just straight out told the Queen and expose herself to be hated by the Crown Prince and only spared because she was pregnant. She tried to hide the pearl but everyone knows that she did it LOL. You know when someone tries to be evil but they just ain't smart enough? Yeah, that's her.
- The Lu family burns the Fu mansion because they have the power to do it but then again, they are not that smart and can't outwit anyone. When you do bad things, you need to cut loose ends in the prevention of getting exposed, but nawh. Why would they do that when they can just sit in prison TWICE waiting to be saved by other people and the daughter?
- Prince Liang is straight-up abusing his power because of his daddy behind his back. He isn't smart and can't outwit anyone, just a spoiled brat being introduced as a bad boi in the royal family because every other one is good.
- Prince Zhou could have just married her from the beginning if he wanted to, but he never forces himself onto her, etc. I won't get deep into this but it's nowhere near being evil.
- The evil people in this drama are nothing compare to the ones in the C-drama I mentioned above. As I said, It's probably just my expectation since it's a political drama relating to the palace and court system where anyone will try to take and abuse their power as they please, and at least try if they want to be "evil"

Please tell me why every higher up ( Queen, Concubines, King's sons, etc) are so nice and helpful. I'm not very used to Chinese political drama being so peaceful with no evil tension in court. The evil people in this drama are so weak plotted like their intelligence is downgraded as episodes continue. Maybe it's just my expectation since I've watched "The Story of Yanxi Palace", "Princess WeiYoung.", etc.

Li Yitong appeared more than Xu Kai for sure, like most of the screen time is her and Xu Kai just take a trip to sleep. The guy only appear when everyone wanna fight to get with his lover. LMFAO.

Although it's funny to think that being 19 can't kiss even if it's acting but I understand. I'm more concerned about the second couple, Lusi and Yu Ning ( Hao Du). Lusi has done many romance dramas and is experienced with kiss scenes regardless of her partner's age gap that's why I'm disappointed that Lusi and Yu Ning didn't have any REAL kissing scenes.

It's already sad enough that the Main Lead doesn't have any REAL kiss scene, but the second couple doesn't have any either? What kind of show is this? 13 Under?

This drama's love line is a mess. I'm having a headache comprehending the messiness between all the couples or "soon to be" couples. I hope the two love-sick dummy would realize that the world isn't going to fucking end if they can't be together with Fu Rou and move TF ON, or just start a relationship with each other. HAPPY ENDING! :D

That couple is so cute ngl. I really enjoy Chuling and Princess Xin Nan as well. Next to that is Lu Qi and Fu Yin, I'm more invested in this couple than the main one :l

You guys here seem to be displeased about one thing and will pinpoint it over and over again and totally disregard a hundred others so whatever my point seems to be, it still will not make sense to you.
- Either way, my point still stands and you totally disregard it was he never force himself onto her and he totally respects her decision regardless of what it might be. He totally puts her happiness before his and helps her achieve it. He only gets in between them again because Fu Rou fails to disclose her identity and puts herself in danger again.
Yes, he shouldn't have threatened Fu Rou using Chu Mu's life. What he did was wrong, but judging from Fu Rou's personality, it was the only way to bring her back to the palace and why would he bring her back you say? BECAUSE THIS WOMAN exposes herself and her smallass life is in danger. :)

For those who read the webtoon, I have a question. Does La Li Ma (Jiyeon) ends up with anyone in the end? (Mark spoiler please, ?)

Oh god, just let Prince Zhou become jesus and go find her fiance without knowing where the fuck he is, you just dont realized how severe the situation was and if Chu Mu really trusted her, there wouldnt need to be any explanation. He knows that 3 dude wanted his wife, instead of being jealous, he need to stand tf up and fight for his wife lol.
There was clearly a scene where prince zhou literally let her go live the life that she wanted so i dont understamd why you keep jumping into the conclusion that he wants her all to himself but ok. AND YES IT WAS TO SAVE HER. MAN, PRINCE ZHOU LET THEM GO KNOWING SO WELL SHE WAS ALIVE. WHICH one of those words did you not understand. Anyway, theres 25 episodes left, lets wait and see :)

I'm more excited to see the other 3 couples than the main leads. Is that weird? LOL. Do you see any chemistry with the main lead? They bored me tbh.

Let me ask you something, did you really think that Fu Rou and Chu Mu would live peacefully forever in hiding? Without their parents knowing that they are living well or not? Prince Zhou clearly saw them at the forest but still willing to let them go and live together ONLY if they did it correctly by concealing their identity, but now Fu Rou reveal herself to save her family and what could that possibly do to her? If the Queen knows she was running away with her lover, do you think she could live? Being back together with Prince Zhou is looking better than the title "running away with her lover." Did you not know that Fu Rou was trying to "find" ways to save the Queen but never returns right? What if the queen thinks that she was only trying to save herself? Prince Zhou only threatens her because he knows that it's the only way to take her back to the palace. He saved HER ONCE AGAIN and you guys really out here thinking that he's arrogant and selfish, forcing himself on her like WHERE?

I said, "If" then I would also completely understand. Plus, I said he's a prince, and which prince in this drama isn't arrogant? They need to LIVE in the palace too. Prince Zhou is a nice guy but he also needs to be tough at times. IMO, I think he isn't arrogant, that's my definition but your definition of him being arrogant is different. Why is the word even a bad thing? lol.
I've just watched episode 30 and it isn't even as bad as you guys portrayed him to be. Do you really think that Fu Rou and Chu Mu can live in hiding forever from their family and court situation? Fu Rou is an outstanding court lady that everyone respects and loves, even the Queen herself treasures her. Prince Zhou clearly said that he respects her decision if she were to live peacefully by concealing her identity which her softhearted couldn't and expose herself to save her family. DO YOU THINK Fu Rou and Chu Mu can still live in hiding after that? Prince Zhou can only threaten her to take her back to the palace TO SAVE HER LIFE. <- When is that snatching? He NEVER abuses his power over her, and when he does, it was to SAVE her from a bad situation. This time, it was her own fault to get caught and expose her identity. He steps in at the right time to SAVE her again. LOL. Ya'll too biased.
- PRINCE ZHOU LITERALLY RESPECTED her decision to live in hiding with Chu Mu. If he didn't respect her, he could have stopped her from the beginning after he found them in the forest. I'm not defending King Liang, he's trash and deserves hell. I'm DEFENDING Prince Zhou because he's an outstanding and a kind prince.

Prince Zhou had helped Fu Rou so many times that it's uncountable. How could you say that he disregard her wishes? Prince Zhou literally never force her to marry him and in fact, he even told his mother that he doesn't want to abuse his power.
- Prince Zhou is born into a privileged family. He's a PRINCE so of course, he has the power to be arrogant to survive in the palace. No Prince is set to be timid, he needs to show his dominance so others can look up to him. As a prince, he's already kind enough to stand up for others, and honestly, I didn't even see any arrogant side to him AT ALL.
- He's one of the best characters in the drama (if he didn't fall for Fu Rou) and even if he becomes selfish in wanting Fu Rou (he did), I would honestly understand. Imagine handing someone you love over to another person below you when you have all the power to stop it. Who would do that? especially during historical times. lol. It's predictable that he's not giving up so easily especially as a Prince. I still love him regardless although I would hope he won't sink further into a deep hole.

Everyone falls in love with each other so fast in this drama that I'm not even surprised. Su Mu falls in love at first sight, Fu Rou soft-heartedly falls for him right after. The Princess also loves Chu Ling (2nd brother) after he steals her first kiss and purposely messes with her. Prince Zhou falls for Fu Rou's intelligence and wit. The Lady of the Lu family fell for the Pirate guy after he gave her the pearl. Overall, the love story in this drama is all over the place.

As for Fu Yin, I feel like it justifies her character. I don't really like the idea of a sister must be like her elder sister. Fu Yin is more naive because she was sheltered that way. Fu Rou is like the head of the family while Fu Yin still at the age to be carefree. At the moment of hatred towards the Li family, I can see that her head only gasps around revenge. Fu Yin has never experienced hardship or the idea of "serving" someone, so I think it's a way to let her learn the hard way to mature and become someone who she never thought she could have become. It's like going out of her comfort zone. If she keeps getting spoon-fed and dependent on others then there's no reason to even have her as a character. The point of having characters are for their development. I really hope to see what she will become.

Edit Add: Also back in those days, being a virgin is literally a girl's treasure. You can only lose it to your husband. Lu Qi is a shameless guy so of course, he wants his servant to wholeheartedly belong to him and not everyone else. Him losing interest in her after seeing what could happen is a normal thing to him since he isn't that interested in her YET.

Prince Zhou is hurting my heart. Can there be more female roles so everyone can be happy? cos every time I see Prince Zhou trying so hard for Fu Rou, my heart hurt for him T_T.

In the end, the only couple that had A REAL KISS. YES, A LIP KISS can't even be together towards the end like DIRECTOR HELLO? I thought they are going to let Di Di live and seeks happiness with Mu Jin. Both of them had suffered so much. They seriously deserve better. IM MAD.

So... Where can I find a man like A'Sun? or HAO DU!!. THEY SO FINE AND LOYAL UGHH.

I'm pretty sure Hee Tae and his brother are not from the same mother which means the current mother is Hee Tae's step mother and could possibly be a mistress before Hee Tae's mother was alive?
