My pleasure, from now on, if you come across a movie you are not sure it's bl, look at the tags, you will find lgbtq+, gay character, gay relationship or some other words that hints being a bl movie/series. For chinese dramas based from bl novels, like Untamed, the tag Censored Adaptation Of Same-sex Original Work is the one always present.
In the manga, after the conversation in the middle of the night between Kyoichi and Imagase, when they have sex for the second time (that is much longer in the manga), in the next morning they wake up together, talk some more, and after Kyochi is telling Imagase that he will go break up with Tamaki, he tells him to wait for him for him to come back. While Kyoichi is breaking up with Tamaki, at first Imagase is waiting at the apartment, but he is getting anxious and is losing more and more confidence that Kyoichi will really have the strength to break up with Tamaki because of him, he throws the ashtray in the trash can and leaves ( it was related to Kyouchi too, because he was taking too long to come back, not only he encountered a traffic jam, the talk with Tamaki too much longer that he tought). Anyway, when Kyoichi returns to the apartment he don't finds Imagase there, but it implied that he manages to see Kyouchi at the nearby bus stop from their apartment window, and he rushes to meet him. In the manga, Imagase left as well, but only until the bus stop, so he let him a way out to come to him when he comes back to the apart. When they meet at the bus stop, they have almost all that talk that in the movie took place in the middle of the night, and they take the decision to move in together. That conversation that happens in the movie at night include parts of conversation that in the manga took place not only in the morning, but at the bus stop too, you have to read the manga to see for yourself, because this part is the one that many changes were made. In the manga,the conversation at the bus stop, when they are showed really ending up together is much more detailed and touching, i will not say anymore to let you something to surprise you if you decide to read the manga.

I'm glad that my toughts helped you see the movie in a new perspective. The reason i spent the time gathering my toughts and trying to focus to write especially about the good things the movie managed to do better, is because this kind of movie is hard to come by. This kind of flawed and complex characters and realistic approach to a relationship, with popular actors who did his best to portray their characters and it shows , are not the norm, but the exception in the bl movies. People are not perfect, and i think that the movies that take the risk to write characters who express not only the good, but the weak, pitiful side of the characters are the ones who make the viewers understand the characters better and make us think deeply of why those things are happening to them and make us genuily wish for the characters to be happy, not matter what they chose. It's a shame if movies like this are not given a chance because of how flawed/cowards are the characters at the beginning, so i can't helped myself to write the previous comment.
