It's not bad as some people comment here, some episodes as more weak as others, but that was the case with the other seasons too. The characters didn't change their personalities or something like that, and the format is the same, so if one of the reason you liked the previous seasons was because of the cast, it's the same. For me, i adore the cast and the interaction between them, it make me feel like i'm home, like i can relax when i can watch the episodes, and know it will be good, this will not change not matter the case or how many seasons i watch. This feeling will change only if the cast is changed. This kind of feeling i had only with the others japanese crime series named Queen, Miss Sherlock, Sherlock and the series Suisho no kodou that i remember now, i saw too many crime/investigation series.
You make me want to read the novel : ) There was a crossover with the characters Yan Wushi and Feng Xiao in Peerless…
This is nothing, i started reading so much more novels, in a variety of genres, including fantasy, slice of life genre and i put thrm in hold because i don't have the time to read all of them, so i only have only some that i read regularly. You summarized very well how i feel about Priest novels, and for the novel of A League of Nobleman, i think it will be okay, because the chapters are very short, like only half of a chapter from Thousand autumns or Peerless, and those are the novels with short chapters, compared with The fourteen year of Cheungha, who are so long as well, that it let me wondering when the chapter with end. I'm patient too, but i have other interests other than reading so i have no choice but select only a few at the time to read.

When it comes with Meng Xi Shi i like all the novels, even if all of them have the characters put through many challenges and have them overcome many obstacles or harsh events, the storytelling and the characters are so charming and the characters go through character development in time, you can see them slowly change, but not too much, their characters are almost the same as the beginning of the story, just some habits and actions they take are different, to reflect the journey they take through the novel. Because of that i can continue reading the novels of Meng Xi without them make me feel too frustrated or to find myself disapproving of the direction the story is going. When it comes to Prist novel, because almost all the novels are much more serious, you have to have patience to continue reading and i think for her novels you have to take some pause of a few days at some point, because if not, you will miss what the novels want to tell you, and if you bing read all the novel in one go you will feel you remained with nothing. This is what happened with me with some of Priest novel. You have to take your time and enjoy the novel writed by Priest, and not reading them in a rush, because it can let you unsatisfyied, and i think one of the reason is because most of the events that are happening make the readers feel like you have to treat them seriously, it demands the attention that he deserves, something like that. Because of this the only novels of Priest that i managed reading until the end or until the last chapter that was translated are: Liu Yao, Guardian, Through the straight gates, Faraway wanderers and the investigation novels Silent reading and The way of the evil,. The last novels are my favorite because i just love to read crime, investigation novels, so i read almost everything of this genre. And one of the thing that let me down when it comes to Priest novels is that for some of the novels, i feel the characters change to much to the point it made me think because they go through too much challenges they are losing some of the charm you saw at the beginning of the novel, the best exemple is Chen Qian from Liu Yao. Or sometimes i feel her characters are doing some actions that are ridiculous or contrary to how they were decribed until then, only to add some more conflicts. But i bookmarked all the novels of Priest, and i`m sure when i have more time in the future to let down and take the time to read the carefully i will read more of them, who just keep coming, only two days ago the novel Itinerant Doctor was dropped in NU fully translated. When it comes to novel who are from the cultivation/historical genre, i finished reading the novels of MXTX, and i`m curently in the middle of reading: - if you don`t know, it started being translated a few days ago the novel from who the bl dramaA League of Nobleman is based, the novel is named The mystery of Zhang Gong, it can be found in NU. - Transmigrating to the Ming Dinasty to do charity- i`m in the middle of reading it. - Panguan - Zhao Ge - The novel who the bl series Immortality is based is good as well, but i put the novel in hold because it`s so freaking long and i`m a bit occupied with other things in this period. Also the novelmmortality is not for everyone, i advice reading the tags, they`re there for a reason. For people who don`t like adult content and some things related to the tags, read the tags, you have to skip a lotof scenes, like i did too, and you can`t enjoy the reading fully because of this.

When it comes to Lord Seventh I didn`t manage to finish reading`it, but i readed about a quarter of the novel, and then i had to put`it in hold, like i did with many of Priest novels. It`s a good novel, but not the best of Priest, it`s a bit of a more psychological novel, in the sense that all the characters are portrayed as grey, no one is good or bad, even the MC and the ML, and added with many political schemes, and the mood of the story that is much more serious with little funny or heartwarming scenes, i can make you frustrated and at some point even make you want nothing more than read as quickly as you can, to find out how the characters will end up and be done with it. This is what i felt at the time, but i know if a start to read the novel in a period that i have more patience, free time and want a novel to give me conflicted feeelings i will go through it and give`it a proper read. Faraway wanderers is much more balanced when it comes to funny, heartwarming scenes versus angsty scenes. Lord Seventh is more similar with Sha Po Lang than Faraway wanderers as more than half of the story takes place in the palace, because in the novel the king from the Faraway wanderers appear frecvently in Lord Seventh, and much of the things that happens in the novel revolves around him being a king.

Thank you, but as Applesandpears said this is definitely not the official trailer we are all looking forward to see, and it`s maybe the bts of the official trailer, and is only just some scenes, we can`t judge anything until the official trailer is released. The trailer should look like a trailer that all the other chinese dramas are releasing, like for exemple how Legend of Fei released the trailer before the drama aired. That`s why i was surprised when i read you found the trailer, hopefully it will be released soon.
The translation of the novel didn't stop, the last update was last month, the translator will continue to translate,…
It' not that bad, i saw that for november and december the translator did about 3 chapters a month, only for Ianuary he did only one chapter, and for this month didn't yet added a new chapter. And let's be optimist, usually if the translator didn't announce he will not continue the novel, no one will chose to translate only a few chapters, even if it's the last few ones. And no one will translate a novel that is already picked up by someone else, so that it will not create fight and discussion between translators, and i saw this happened with the novel Breaking through the clouds by Huai Shang, who the translator is very slow in updating the novel but wont be happy if it's translated by someone else or collaborate with others translators so the novel will be translated faster, and i love that novel. In the same situation is Thousand autumns, and it's even more pitiful than this novel, because it's only translated halfway, and with even less frecvency than for this novel.
I'm very excited about this adaptation, especially since the translation of the novel stopped at chapter 67. I'm…
The translation of the novel didn't stop, the last update was last month, the translator will continue to translate, and they are not many chapter left to translate, only about 12.
If you don't know, the donghua adapted from the novel, aired the first episode in 08.02. You can find'it in youtube,…
Now, when i went to the page of the drama Word of Honor i saw we talked about this novel before, and i think i repeated some things you already know. Faraway wanderers is another novel of Priest that is really good, one of the best from cultiv/hist genre writed by this author, but it can't beat Meng Xi Shi when it comes to the complexity of the world building. In my view, Priest novels are much more simple when it comes to world building, but the style of writing of Priest is a bit more sophisticated, and less easily to follow the events described in her/his novels, than that of Meng Xi shi. I tried reading the first chapter of the novel Golden Stage a long time ago, when the first chapter were being translated , but it not managed to maintain my interest enough to continue reading, but it was not bad, maybe i will give'it a chance again. In my case, when it comes to reading novels, my taste in the style of writing, genre of the story, unique plots keep changing, so it's very different now compared to a few years ago, and reading more and more novels helped me know for sure when the story of a novel is for my liking or not.

No, i didn't read the rest, but i checked up the MTL sites for the last chapters, because i was just to curious what it's the end of the novel, and it was a big mistake, don't do that. I knew i shouldn't do that from my experience with other unfinished novel but temptation is hard to resist. The MTL is not bad for a historical novel, but will not let you satisfied and you will lose the excitement to reread when the chapters get translated, you already know what it happens, so even of the translation is very good, it will not be the same, just stop reading at the last chapter tranlated and wait until more chapters are translated. At this pace, i don't think, this season of donghua will adapt more than half the novel at this point, so you can read the novel at the same time or after watching the donghua. Snowy Codex, the curent translator will continue to translate, the novel is not dropped, he just has a more busy period, don't settle with something less than a good translation, this novel is the most charming one from all Meng Xi Shi novels, Yan Wushi is more of a realistic and cruel character, but his personality shines when he interacts with Shen Qiao, who journey will not be half as enjoyable to read without Yan Wushi repeatedly messing and coming as he please in his life.
Live-action or not, I started to read the novel and it's such a nice feast to the heart! Barely on chapter 26…
If you don't know, the donghua adapted from the novel, aired the first episode in 08.02. You can find'it in youtube, it has the same name as novel, it's easy to find. And i'm sure they will make a live action too, but will surely have to wait for a year maybe even two to see'it airing.
Yes, just like Untamed, it's a drama based on a bl novel, from the author Priest ( i'm sorry, i made a big mistake…
Now, i'm rereading Thousand autumns again because of the airing of the donghua, who previously i readed until the newest chapter that was translated. It's a bit unfortunately that the updates for the translated novels of Meng Xi Shi are a bit slow, but it's like that for almost all novels, Priest has'it a bit better.. The only one novel of Meng Xi that i finished is Peerless, i started reading the new novel picked'up to be translated, Estranged and i want to reread from the beginning The Fourteen years of Chenghua, because finally someone made a good translation, previously i readed the novel halfway with barely minimum understanding, because the translation was really bad.
Is this another BL china drama, just like The Untamed, with Simon Gong & Zhang Zhe Han in it?? Hmmm....
Yes, just like Untamed, it's a drama based on a bl novel, from the author Priest ( i'm sorry, i made a big mistake when i wrote Meng Xi Shi previously, i'm in the midle of reading a novel from Meng Xi Shi, and my head is was not thinking properly when i wrote), named Faraway wanderers. The novel it's really good, and they managed to cast actors who know what they are doing. I have high hopes in this drama
