Yes for both questions. It`a a Priest novel, if it`s one thing you can count on her novels, is that at least from all her novels translated until now she always give her couples their HE. After making her characters go through hell sometimes, but it`s always HE for her novels. And i can assure you of that because i read the novel too.

The novel properly develops the relationship between Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu until to the point they become lovers by the last chapters. Both of them fall in love, and both are fighting to stay together.
Zhou Zishu is not interested to become serious with no one, especially at the beginning of the novel and avoid the advances of Wen Hexing for a long time , because after being poisoned by those needles he is resigned to die. Only after overcoming many things, Zhou Zishu is willing with the help of Wen Kexing, to accept and find a way so he could live more, because after meeting Wen Kexing Zishu feels he has a reason to live now. The novel has some romantic scenes, not a lot of intimate scenes, but you have to have patience.
Priest is stingy with the romance in her novels but the relationship is there, much more deep and enough explored than in most of herother novels.
Usually, for the novels writed by Priest the relationship between the characters can make people feel it's not showed, described, explored how it should, but for this novel and a few others from Priest, this couple it's very well developed, she has even chosen to show Wen Kexing opening to Zhou Zishu about his traumatic past to take the relationship to a more deeper level.

I really love the novel and the drama, but i have to stop coming here, because it`s stressing me out. I wish people will try to start dicussions centered more about the drama and novel, real discussions, with more few and large posts that actually makes people happy and worth reading, and refrain from asking things that can be found by scrolling down or searching on the page.
If things continue like this, the valuable and beautiful comments will be lost in the sea of repetitive and frustrating comments, and it`s a pity.

This friday youku youtube channel, will add eng sub to all the eps released there. Until now, they put on youtube 3 eps, one will follow tomorrow and another one friday, and after that next week probably they will re release a new chapter in youtube everyday that has subs already. We are all waiting for friday to arrive faster.

I really hope the subs will be good if they bothered to take care of this properly.

I guess, they didn`t have planned to provide eng sub in the beginning, so something changed they mind, so that`s why the delay in the releasing of the sub.

At least they provide subs, i heard that until know they didn`t provide subtitles for any other drama made . The first ep was released today in youtube, and probably the others will follows, possible one ep will be released everyday, but eng sub will be available only friday. Until now they released 4 unsubbed ep and one today, in other platform that youtube, and will follow one everyday until friday, the frecvency of release is one ep everyday, but for the people who don`t know mandarin, like me, we will have to wait a little more time,

It only premiered yesterday, pleople are giving the drama a rating when it should't, haters gotta hate, if you think is good, then i don't see why you shouldn't give'it a try. The reason the rating is so low it may be because the drama has not subtitles yet, youku has communicated that for international fans they will add subtitles, but a bit delayed, as they will add eng sub to the eps from their youku youtube channels this friday. So it's likely people are unsatisfied by this and are already left a rating, when they shouldn't when the eps are not subtitled, and it only premiered yesterday, so maybe the rating will change once the eps are subtitled. Or is the result of those that are homophobic, and like to rate bl novels and dramas based on bl novels as low as possible.
