I always had a love hate relationship with Untamed, i liked the drama, but not as much as the novel, and i tought the huge fans of this drama will always try to hinder future danmei adaptations specially after i heard of what those crazy fans did to Xiao Zhan, who you can`t reason too. I know not all fans of that drama and Xiao Zhan are like this, but they do give the fandom of that drama a bad reputation on the circle of bl fans and other danmei adaptations fans. I`m happy that the fans of Simon Gong and ZZH are not letting them do as they please. Xiao Zhan is really unlucky, but even if he is harmed, someone have to put a stop to those crazy fans of his and other fans of the drama Untamed that were brainwashed by the succes of that drama and the the huge fame the actors had, that they don`t want to let any other drama and actors gain the succes the Untamed has given to them. The actors of this drama and upcoming dramas worked as hard as Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan to bring the characters to life as we see them, and some are even better actors, like for exemple ZZH, who we are lucky he accepted to play in this drama, so they deserve to become as big as they worked for. It`s not acceptable for the success of a drama to hinder the chances of another drama to become as big or surpass the first one that paved the way, this way, things will go how it was before the release of Untamed, going backwards than things improving.

Woah, if this indeed happened then things don`t look good, i hope everyone should indeed stop writing about this here, but those comments are plenty in youtube too, from people for who knows from how many countries, who have not ideea of what is happening in China. I was worried about this too, and if the people keep commenting about this, the chinese authorities would take notice. I tought it don`t matter since as long as it passed censorship, they allowed those scenes to pass, but it seems it`s not the case. I really hope this drama will not have a similar fate as Guardian, we should all be more discret in the comments. even when recommending the drama to seomeone, i will more careful too. Yes, this is wrong. The person who is managing this page is confusing this page of the drama as being the one from the donghua. I noticed that until now many people think this is the page from the donghua, not the live adaptation. Mydramalist is for dramas lol, not donghuas, anime, novels or other things etc, i`m getting very frustrated. Many other censored bromance dramas that are planned to be made in the future has a page made in mydramalist much more earlier than the actual release , and i find`it very convenient as it`s a place where fans of the novel, donghua can discuss things more early. But the person who manage this drama, it`s like he was drunk when he made those things or have not common sense, i don`t know what it`s doing . It`s impossible for this drama to be released when the cast was not even revealed, i don`t know what it`s with that countdown, maybe he is not confusing the page for donghua ( as it has 16 eps not 48), but he shouldn`t let people rate the drama yet and put that countdown when nothing is confirmed.

It`s an amazing drama, you won`t regret watching`it. First 4 eps with eng subs are available in youtube, the ep 5 and the others will continue to be released subbed from tomorrow. Ep 5 can be a bit more slow and confusing, but i think it`s still interesting. It gets better and better on next episodes. It It has a lot of fights beautifully coreographed and funny scenes, It can be enjoyed by bl fans but bromance fans as well.

Hang in there until chapter 30, starting from chapter 31, someone else continued with the translation, and the quality is much better from then. But, i still think the translation of the first 30 chapters are not that bad, it`s more than decent than some other translation of some of the novels i read.

Here is the page of Heaven Official`s Blessings live adaptation- this drama wil start filming soon, and is directed by the same director from Untamed. We are still waiting for him to reveal the cast, is so mysterious with the cast, lol. But as i say he confirmed himself that the drama will start filming this year, that`s why i think it will be released next year.

OPS. now i realised i mentioned about this in the previous post, i hope it will help me more, i wrote`it already.

More probably it will air in 2022-2023, after Heaven official`s blessing drama., as i think they didn`t even start chosing the casting and not filmed yet. But they chosen the director, so it`s something. The only chinese live actions based on bl novels that will air this year are Word of honor( based on Faraway wanderers of Priest) that is airing right now, Immortality (this is confirmed), Winnner is King and A league of Nobleman. These are the only ones more likely to be released this year.

I didn`t even knew because i don`t check her dramas that are not based on bl novels, for Legend of Fei i knew because Wang Yibo is in it. . But as far as i know the novel that this drama is based on is not translated yet.

Here you can see all the other live adaptations of all the novels writed by this writer that it`s expected to see the lights on at some point. From all those adaptations, like some other people mentioned Guardian and Legend of Fei are the ones aired already, the one that have the cast decided will have the chance to be released more early than others, like the one named Light the Darkness, based on the novel Silent reading. We are lucky this year, as we are spoiled with the releasing of her other live adaptation named Winner is King who is expected to air in the last quarter of the year.
Usually the writer name is added in the cast section for almost all the other dramas based on a novel, as you can acces more easily other dramas based on the novels of the respective writer.

Now, what happened with My Roommate is a Detective was very unfortunate and i don`t wish that it will happen anymore in the future, to any of the censored bromance drama that are adapted for a bl novel or to a drama that is writed and promoted as bl, but the production time decides to make that kind of move. I don`t want to remember how much i resented the production team for what they did. In this drama, the only female character that is one of the main, along with the other male characters, is not the female lead to any of the lead characters, not to Zi Shu and not to Wen Kexing, she is the love interest of the character Cao Wei Ning, both in the novel in the drama. So, if you worry that the same thing will happen here, that happened in the drama you mentioned, it will not happen.
And the female lead in My rommate is a detective was not there just for the sake of it, they have`it marry one of the leads, they give her an important role, because they couldn`t find another way, i was so dissapointed.

I was refering what Zhou Zishu said is more plausible, specially because someone who knows chinese told me he said 3 years, the scene before could be a mistake when they wrote the subs. Because Zhou Zishu did said he was a beggar for three years, then three years have passed. Like this it makes sense what he said about the emperor and he did said that he lived as a beggar for three years.
