serious second male leas syndrome in this drama... also the male lead is only remotely interesting hen he is sleep walking...also the male leads brothers character is so two dimensional i don't even see the point apart from story progression.
So he married again. This is what I hate the most. Thinking about dropping this now. Two wives. Oh my there's…
ok but you do realising having 1 wife is a modern day thing, it was very common and expected in the past for men esp. men from rich families to have more than 1 wife to keep the blood line going etc.
I hadn't watched the original (one of the dramas that has been on my to watch list for years) After watching ep. 1 of this remake, reading the comments here, I finally decided to watch the original instead- 7:31 minutes in it already makes a hell of a lot more sense and more realistic high school setting than the remake! lol
Disappointed that they choose an actor who doesnt look younger than the female lead, he even looks older and I…
I was litray about to write the same comment- like how is he meant to be a school kid with all that 5 o'clock shadow! lol. the female lead is cute though.
Ep. 13/14: in just 1 hour Haru disappeared, came back with amnesia and then we finally get a glimpse of the alternative universe! talk about rapid story development! lol
ep.2 comments: Ok so I KNOW ITS A DRAMA>>>BUT! How is a police officer going to just leave a small kid to fend for himself after being a victim of a fire and knowing he is now an orphan? Even in the context of the drama world this seems a bit far fetched.... no?
ALL I can say is episode 1 was EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time in a while a serious has gripped me in the first episode! I wasnt expected a lot from this tbh as it was a remake of a remake (US version, which was a remake of the UK version) But honestly im impressed. Top marks.... for episode 1 anyway! lol
innocently went to watch this movie, and in the first 5 minutes I as faced with "blackface" - I'm so disgusted! Honestly I often have to turn a blind eye to the racism/ cultural appropriation in Asian entertainment (because I'm enjoy watching the normal stuff and its not like all Asian people are racist), but when its this overt it just impossible to ignore! And if one ignorant person responses with a, " they dont know any different because they dont have black people in Asia" Im actually going to punch them through my computer screen! Thats a BS excuse and we all know it, they know is wrong (it was released in 2014 Karen NOT 1420) and its intentional, periodt.
I think you forget the setting of the drama. It clearly show the company is a relaxing company where everyone…
Your response is a clear example of why a lot of people fail exams, i.e. by not reading and answering the question given. I'll reiterate... again... The simple question was; does this happen in real offices in China? (at no point did I say that the drama had to be realistic, or even that there was anything wrong with it. As stated I have seen short shorts worn in MANY office based Cdramas of various company types NOT just this one and wondered if this happened in real life at all). Additionally, 'lol, Australia' means there is casual office dress in Australia, so saying "Western countries" is a BIG leap dont you think? Anyway, nice try I think I will leave the conversation here as clearly, what was a question that only required a Yes or No answer has been turned into War and Peace.
Enjoyed the movie, it was a standard horror movie and it was gripping is small parts... My only criticism was that the bad guy was so good looking i kept getting distracted and forgetting he was the bad guy! lol Guess that's how the devil works! haha

Me: Asks a simple question about China irl, then you reply with a paragraph about the drama. Me: Also wondering which "Western countries" are being alluded to, because this certainly isn't the case in Britain, probably not in Europe either....
Watched ep1 hmmm, seems a bit lacklustre (but watchable) If i'm honest the visuals of the leads do not live up to what I'm accustomed to from Asian dramas esp. the female lead. Really lovely otro song (im going to download it for sure) But felt like they basically showed me the whole show in the outro so not sure how many episodes I'll be watching.
me: why the hec is the writer showing me the who story in the first 5 minutes of the drama and then expecting me to watch 96 45 min episodes!!! lol Its bad enough that CDramas basically tell the whole story in the never ending intro/ outro montages! Also i think the un written rule is that if you're going to make a drama this long at least provide some eye candy! These writers clearly have no manners or social etiquette! haha
This isn't supposed to be a drama that blow you away, but rather slice of life, light and fun and rather realistic…
Seems like you're getting real defensive over a drama... that I didn't even trash. lol We all view things differently, I stand by my review and you are totally with in your right to stand by yours.
