Been watch this show and all ive been thinking every episode is dammmmmmmn the male lead is hot! lol esp. when he smiles (those dimples) me and flower boys idk. Tell me im not alone here, in thinking his looks are distracting!

Hey havent been here for a while and kinda dropped the show... are you still watching?

OK so i was board so started watching another drama "falsify" only to realise how similar (including actors) it is to Doctor prisoner! lol think the the writers were big on recycling!! But am enjoying both shows tbh.

end of episode 11 and im struggling to continue just seem repetitive and the female cop is somehow annoying.... Initially enjoyable, anyone watched further- should i struggle on?

9/10 overall very good drama, what i liked most was the quick witted banter and the fact that there was no romance between the main leads (refreshing in a kdrama!). For me the ending was a let down it was like they didnt really know how to end the show, but still a definite must watch!!

The assault story was fake because the doctor blackmailed her to save himself and then he was suddenly killed by others to silence him to make sure he didnt spill any of their dirty laundry.... The reporter knew something was off but didnt care as she wanted to save herself, that is the "back story" of their relationship.

I guess people will want a romance in a kdrama regardless of the genre or if it make sense- thats why most people watch for the fairytale/ old fashioned love stories, so I cant blame you. lol

OK is it just me who's enjoying this refreshing wave of dramas with ajeossi's lately. Cant believe i'm saying this but was get fed up of kdramas with the younger guys... time for some mature eye candy! Bring on the facial hair! lol

Oh didn't realise Nam Goong Min was the male lead before watching episode 1.... this ajeossi is all kinds of sexy... my ovaries just exploded!! lol

*shook* she ruined his life, he lost his wife and his kid is dying partly due to her ruining him! Seriously not every kdrama has to be a romance- it is unrealistic for those two to fall in love!

so basically they show us the whole drama in a flash back in the first episode? clever.

If the male and female lead fall in love im dropping this drama, she basically ruined his life for no reason an has no qualms about using him again, even a kdrama cant white wash that one... surely not? lol

I find it funny how people really believe that idols aren't human; like OMG so they have sex, drink, can grow facial hair and swear... how can this be true! lol its cute though.

This show takes the gold medal for how many messed up bad things can happen in a single episode! OMG, the writers threw everything in bar the kitchen sink into the first couple of episodes lol.

Ok, I'm a sucker for flower boys- if its a choice between the Emperor ( who is good looking in his own right) and the flower boy 2nd lead- its 2nd lead syndrome for me everytime lol. Loved him since love 020 he is just great eye candy ;p

7/10 repetitive scheming like most dramas of this genre and draggy towards the end, but over all enjoyable. I skipped to the end at episode 49, so at some point i might watch the lead up to the finale. I would have liked a second season; where we see her reign as Empress Dowager and how she protects her sons throne while his still too young and how she builds the empire.

Ep1. Basically the cherry blossom fairy dude did nothing wrong, they had their own prejudices (even after he helped them all fall in love for centuries) and them wanna get upset when he retaliates! ???? lol

Synopsis should have just read- Chinese Harry Potter. lol

@Aryael, No that's your own assumption, I never once mentioned anything about romance. I read the synopsis before I started watching and actually expected them to be married much earlier in the show with the story being more about how they helped the king. The Gu family plot line seemed repetitive and weak to me, however as ninan pointed out, around episode 51/2 we seem to be moving on from this now.
