lol did we watch the same drama? There is nothing remotely realistic about this drama, it has plenty of cliches and I doubt the writers sat down and thought, "hmm lets make a drama that people will watch when they need a break from exciting dramas!" lol Like I said a its enjoyable vanilla ice cream.

Ok, so someone please explain why grown women in these period dramas always throw /smash things when they are angry, are they toddlers?? I swear all that china was super expensive in those days as well! Also why are these old ladies in the emperor's harem still fighting? After all these years they still got time for that?! Seriously they should have got themselves old school vibrator and some porn and chilled in a cold palace! lol

Can someone please explain to me why applying medicine and dressing on "wounds" that don't even need treatment is portrayed as the height of romance in Asian drama?

If I had to describe this drama, I'd say it's vanilla ice cream (not the fancy kind, the own brand stuff... like Tesco's' finest) Ita pleasant enough... actually quite enjoyable, but it's not going to blow you tastes buds. 6.5/10

ok.... so, can someone please confirm to me if girls in China really wear short shorts to work, because I notice this in every office drama and I'm always taken aback. lol

plot holes, rushed, anticlimactic ending and the eng subs are out of sync... Its watchable, even a little enjoyable, but the writers phoned this one in tbh.

The male leads lips always get my heart racing... sorry, not sorry. haha

They could have resolved this story line by taking a one way ticket to Oymyakon; as much skinship as you like in the freezing cold! lol

I KNOW I ALWAYS COMPLAIN THAT THE WRITERS OF ASIAN DRAMAS NEED TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX MORE.... BUT THIS SYNOPSIS SEEMS SO ABSURD! lol Worth watching?

Why are Thai dramas always so messy?? .... At least it doesn't sound like there is a lot of slapping in this one! lol I do like my asian dramas but its like: Thai drama= romance, "domestic violence", dominant males; Chinese drama= beautiful costumes, beautiful scenery, sad ending, 60+ episodes; Korean Drama= love triangle, 16 episodes, only kiss on episode 16, evil mother in law, lots of beautiful people ... Sprinkle in to all of them a bit of memory loss, random illness, a car accident, convenient accidental encounters, childhood friend and/or ex who shows up just when the main protagonists are getting along and declares their love and lots of social drinking and I think that sums it up! lol I stopped watching US/UK TV shows as they were all too predictable.... what now.... Spanish shows?? hahaha

I feel like I've watched this show 100 times... Cant Asian drama writers get some original material? Maybe I need a break from dramas because even though this is watchable its predictable from episode 1... Also can someone tell me why all rich, handsome, Asian guys in dramas need to have a phobia of women; seriously this needs to be investigated- what are they doing to men in Asia?! (it's a joke, relax)

About to drop this drama after ep 2/3; I just dont know how I'm meant to feel towards the main characters. They just jumped into the story from ep.1 no buildup or back story and all the characters are either selfish, vindictive or dumb... who am i meant to be routing for? Or is the point that they are all rubbish? I just dont know... The main female lead isnt even very pretty considering the premise is that she is a rising star/ beauty.

I feel like the male lead doesn't have the charm/ looks of a male lead... dont know if my opinon is bias because on love 020, but i just dont get a male lead vibe from him... his acting is ok though.

me: 5 mins into the drama... oh so basically the whole plot of oliver twist kdrama style . lol

I think you also missed that they just let her husband out of jail... why? ok he didn't do the original crime, but he basically assaulted one person and tried to kill the female lead with a chokehold to cover up his wifes crimes- why are we just glossing over this?!!!

As much as i love cdramas; sometimes im like, really writers? we couldn't get a more original storyline? No? Ok ill watch for the costumes and hot boys anyay. lol
