A really big issue is not telling us about who did NHD marry? Obviously without that info we're gonna think that…
It's true that Heedo's relationship with her mom is already hard, but with proper communication and effort to put in her relationship with Yijin, I feel like they can make it. Atleast, I know they tried because that seems to be in character or make them friends at least after that. It's also not in character with them selves in episode 9 and 13. :( She even married another one who also travels overseas. :(
Things that don't make sense: 1) they had this mature, supporting relationship but they couldn't deal with the…
I definitely agree with you, but I guess we will never know. I just hoped someone will write a fan fiction regarding this and a better ending alternative to everyone. I hope someone really do.
Honestly even a break up at the end without the future scenes would have been fine I think?
Also not to mention with all the hints from the drama that led us to believe they could actually be the endgame. I think it's just a production and marketing trick, I really hated that.

Wow, good that you haven't watch episode 14 even. Just really end it at episode 13. Lol. I wish I had done that. Their breakup doesn't feel like a good arc to their beautiful relationship and to be honest, I just feel like this whole "reporter" thing is just very cruel for the writer to do? They also had the best communication and relationship from what we've seen in episode 5, 9 and 13 even at the start of episode 15, it is, but I just think their relationship didn't have a beautiful resolution. I honestly would've like it if they were shown to have tried or at least, become friends again. I don't really want to accept that ending for them because I just think it could be so much more and accepting that feels like disservice to the two of the best characters in korean dramas.
Even the past scene hurts now, aaaaah. :( This isn't the Heedo and Yijijn I watched for 15 episodes. I need to read an alternative ending to their beautiful story.

I think the future timeline was unnecessary, even if they wanted to give us a bittersweet ending they could without those scenes. It was really a letdown for me.
Stopped at 14 cause scared after reading the comments
If you are really invested with the couple, well, maybe you can watch until the half of episode 15. You may still watch the ending ofc but it just hurts so much and personally, is a letdown to a beautiful story.
Reasons I felt this is a really bad ending:1) Since ep 14 the show felt rushed. Ep 16 felt as rushed as me studying…
First, I don't think Yijin is at fault here. He can still keep his work and be with Heedo. Heedo and Yijin, I believe can still be happy if they will be able to communicate and create better arrangements if they think that their love was really worth it. We think their relationship was worth it, and I believe had the characters been alive, they would think it is as well. They did not really communicate before they breakup, they just lash hurtful things to one another, cry and hug for the last time but that's just all.
They should have atleast tried...again. Communicate and fix things that still can be fixed. Yijin has been a great part of Heedo's life and I couldn't accept that he just disappeared in her life like that.
Honestly, I was among the people who were saying that I would not be mad if they don't end up together because…
I agree with you. I thought I can be prepared if it atleast didn't end with them being together, but I'm sorry but the conclusion to their relationship wasn't beautiful.
I would love it if they still tried to work things out but just one major fight and they already gave up. I think the intent was really to make the ending bittersweet, but the pacing was not right for it. The ending for the leads seem really undeserving to me.
You've got something here and I really didn't like that practice thing, what a way to discredit all the hardwork of youth
