Actually I rewatched this drama sometime this year and I thought that maybe it's a comparison with NK and SK paramedic response? Like while GSJ is dying, they were showing how Seri can receive all emergency medical response and GSJ on the other hand, as he's in the NK, they did not have proper medical equipment and the response was also not the best.

Hmm, if that is the case, they may choose to breakup for a while then get back together again on the last quarter of 25 and 21 timeline. The synopsis still said that by 25 and 21 is where they fall in love, so I want to be hopeful that this will provide a beautiful conclusion to their love. The show has been too beautiful in weaving their love story for 13 episodes, so I don't want to believe that they will immediately break our hopes as fast as episode 14...so yeah, I'm still holding on baekdo engame ^^

I think if they are not planning a heartbreak, I think it's more plausible to have a beautiful ending. Because if a private marriage is really the intention, it is already being setup as of episode 14. There's also a preview from episode 15 where Heedo and Yijin seat apart from one another in a restaurant/bar, so that can foreshadow that they're trying to make their relationship secret in public to avoid controversies?

I just don't think the story would spend literally 13 episodes creating a slow burn romance, only to splash a no happy ending sign in our faces as fast as it can by episode 14, without even providing scenes of their dating relationship and whatsoever, so writing-wise, I think I will agree with most optimistic tumblr users that 2521 is not a journey, but a "destination". ^_^

I don't think she will die anymore. She already had her best arc in episode 14, so it is just too much drama if she even dies.
