Hmm, if that is the case, they may choose to breakup for a while then get back together again on the last quarter of 25 and 21 timeline. The synopsis still said that by 25 and 21 is where they fall in love, so I want to be hopeful that this will provide a beautiful conclusion to their love. The show has been too beautiful in weaving their love story for 13 episodes, so I don't want to believe that they will immediately break our hopes as fast as episode 14...so yeah, I'm still holding on baekdo engame ^^

I think if they are not planning a heartbreak, I think it's more plausible to have a beautiful ending. Because if a private marriage is really the intention, it is already being setup as of episode 14. There's also a preview from episode 15 where Heedo and Yijin seat apart from one another in a restaurant/bar, so that can foreshadow that they're trying to make their relationship secret in public to avoid controversies?
I just don't think the story would spend literally 13 episodes creating a slow burn romance, only to splash a no happy ending sign in our faces as fast as it can by episode 14, without even providing scenes of their dating relationship and whatsoever, so writing-wise, I think I will agree with most optimistic tumblr users that 2521 is not a journey, but a "destination". ^_^

I especially agree with you on the athletes :( At first, a thought also came to me that she betrayed Korea when I first learn about their 2001 fencing fight, but when I learned more about it, I've come to respect athletes better and Yurim's decision, that they are also people who are striving to make ends meet.

I also believe that it could've been better not to put that Russia pays a lot? Because many people really cut all those things just to get everything they want. :( But, I think those are really needed to be added because the news station also cares about rating and everything. It's not all Yijin's fault, but it was the journalism industry at that point that hurt all of them.
But, I agree that atleast Yijin is better than other reporters there everywhere.

Well, I guess people still won't understand Yijins's point of view. And it's quite sad.
