You know, I got really disappointed in Baek Yi Jin when he met Hee Do because he lectured her first and though, I'm glad at what he did as a reporter later on, I'm still not in a good mood. I guess this just shows how much I got into Hee Do's emotions
I don't think so. In the beginning of Ep 7, Min-chae asks when will dad come back? So her mom told bcz of quarantine…
Wait if he really is in overseas right now then Hee Do's mom did say that she saw Baek Yi Jin last month, then could really be it that Hee Do's mom have dementia?
I have been on edge these past few episodes with yurim’s attitude, I get that she felt inferior when it came…
I agree, I really did not also like the reveal that they are internet friends but I still trust the writer. However, I completely agree that Yu Rim's behavior is so uncalled for! Her family's economic status and her efforts in the past cannot be an excuse to her behaviors towards Hee Do!
Aaaah. I cried throughout the whole episode. I was cheering for her, crying while cheering for her. Then crying again because people did Na Hee Do bad and Yu Rim did her bad as well, then Yi Jin came with his lecture and it was sad when Hee Do was showing to Baek Yi Jin who was faster and all. Then Hee Do watched the news and Yi Jin did a report with the referee then the grandfather at the restaurant recognized her and congratulated her! Goodness, not a single moment I did not cry! Fighting, Hee Do, I will always cheer and root for you! This is just another wall and continue moving forward because you are close to another step!
Funny and action-packed! Every actor is good! Loved Ha Neul and Hyo Joo's acting! Though this is an action-comedy-historical film, this portrayed leadership and camaraderie!
I rewatched episode 5 and I saw in the present days that when Hee Do is supporting Min Chae when she's just a child, she has a ring, but not on the wedding finger.
At this point in time, I am also most interested on the dynamics in the past rather than what has happened in the present! I love them both and I want to continue cheering for their happiness and their dreams! But it's also fun with all the theories and everything~
Yi jin and Hee Do realized that it is love at 25 and 21. It was a healthy relationship built on mutual respect…
I feel you on this as well haha, but at least if Min Chae is Yi Jin's father, we can still see more bits of their relationship. I think they might also make the present characters play their younger counterparts, if they start reminiscing their past , as other dramas also did.
Yi jin and Hee Do realized that it is love at 25 and 21. It was a healthy relationship built on mutual respect…
I do not think he will die nor be in prison. Aside from this theory, there's a possibility that they just moved on for good and Hee Do found another man but their relationship did not become successful and did not get married and meet Yi Jin in the present again. Or Hee Do married Min Chae's father but died...
While I think this another theory is still acceptable, I don't think this is a good resolution because I do not think Hee Do will just fall in love with another man and have a child with him. But, well, there's still "times" playing with us with all the time skips they did on previous episodes...
It's 4 am in the morning and I decided to create a theory on who's Kim Min Chae's father, check my reply! ♡
Yi jin and Hee Do realized that it is love at 25 and 21. It was a healthy relationship built on mutual respect ❤️, however, the "times" decided to get it away from them. It could be a problem from Hee Do or Yi Jin's family.
They believe that it's best to support each other from a far. Just like how Hee Do did not get angry at Baek Yi Jin suddenly leaving when they're 22 and 18, and instead, still rooted for him and prayed for his happiness!
So, both of them focused on rebuilding their lives.
I think this separation could be from Hee Do's side, as they first separated at 22 and 18 due to Yi Jin's side.
So, fast forward, 5 years later. All seems well for the both of them and it's destiny that they met again.
At 30 and 26, both are adults and still love each other. However, it seems like "times" have changed and it changed them as well. There were also unresolved ghosts from Yi Jin's family and past.
Or, there's a dream that is worth pursuing. So, they separated for good—tying all loose ends. They were happy for that short time, and once again, respected each other and chose to move forward. In episode 4, I do not think Hee Do resents Yi Jin or anything in the present.
Hee do learned that she's pregnant, but she chose not to tell Yi Jin due to the "times". The "times" could've been "bad" or an "opportunity" to Yi Jin, that's why she did not disclose he's Min Chae's father. She believes that it's the most appropriate on the situation.
Her mother also knows that as well and that could been the reason why she asked Min Chae in episode 4 if she knew Baek Yi Jin or the person in the photo. She did not agree at her daughter decision at first but respected it.
In the present, Yi Jin is also alive and doing well just like Hee Do. In this theory, it would be so dramatic to make Yi Jin have his own family. 😆Soooo, he still doesn't have a family and diligently works hard at his current career!
As Min Chae reads her mother's diary, she learned that her mother only loved one person and that is Yi Jin and starts to put things together. Hee Do and Yi Jin will meet again and will reminisce their past.
The daughter learns that Yi Jin is her father, but she's not angry.
I think this is really possible because we don't really see the father. Min Chae will ask Hee Do about this and would like to meet Yi Jin.
Hee Do and Yi Jin will reconcile and rebuild their friendship in the present times and the ending will be an open to interpretations if they will get back together.
Of course, even though it's open ending, Yi Jin will be happy knowing that he has a daughter and wants to be a good father. Seeing how he's family oriented, there's a higher chance they will now have a good family as the "times" opened that to them! 🤗
So, that's it!
Note: I got this theory from everyone else who believe (1) Yi Jin is Min Chae's father but he doesn't know and (2) Min Chae will make Yi Jin and Hee Do get back together. I just waved it all together to arrive at this conclusion. 😌
I think the "times" will also play a very important role in their love story, as it did in their dreams! 🤗 I think the "times" playing on people and our relationships with our loved ones is harder to conquer than on how it plays on our dreams.
Aaah! Loved the teaser so much! And my halmonies from Dear My Friends are here too! Even the mother in When The Camellia Blooms! Will surely watch this~
Just read the whole comment thread from this, but I think what the commenter is saying is that it was disappointing from his/her/their point of view, because it doesn't seem to be a masterpiece type of a drama according to his/her/their taste or that its vibe is something he/she/their is not into!
With that, I want to share my opinion as a person who've watched the teaser multiple times, Lee Byung Hun surely knows a good drama. The drama seems promising. I also love the writer and have watched many of her dramas and she was good!! I've also watched many of the casts in these show and they were really good, honestly, I was a little surprise to see some as supporting casts, but I guess you cannot just turned down a good drama! This drama seems to have a refreshing vibes and something out of the common and ordinary action dramas that in my opinion, overly congested in the streaming markets. So that's it. I am also a fan of such dramas who manages good comedy and is able to hit my emotions, so I'm so in for this one!!
