The car scene in the final episode broke my heart ,, I can understand the feelings of both of them ,, it's really…
"The car scene in the final episode broke my heart" -- YES, we felt the same. "My first and the best korean male lead in my opinion to know how to show difficult emotions just right not too much not too little" -- Indeed and so was Moon Chae Won, they were such a perfect pair!
It was really good from the writing, to directing and acting. It's definitely a favorite and my top drama. It is not gore nor bloodthirst type nor a perfect crime thriller that other watchers might be looking for, it was a mixed of suspense and melodrama with lots of deep meanings coupled up to create this beautiful story. :)
3 episodes in and honestly it isnt as gripping or as dark as i thought itd be.. I probably went in with high expectations…
because it wasn't really "dark" nor it was its intention, it was really a melodrama at its core and the internal battle of the Do Hyun Soo with his true nature and the marriage of the main characters, heh, if you ended up watching this drama until the end maybe you can agree with me :)
Spoiler from Webtoon: -- I think this was cute and fairly good. I've heard about Woong and Yumi's break up in the webtoon and that she will meet two more guys with the last one being her "end game". Well, it always depend upon how the breakup will be handled and the transition from being "broken hearted" to finding "someone new" if the breaking up of the characters will be justified. But for now, I feel like Woong and Yumi should work it out in this drama instead of breaking up just like in the webtoon. Woong was her light in her lonely world for three years and I just feel that the breakup was a big disservice to what could've been a beautiful, nurturing and stronger relationship they could even develop in the future if their shortcomings would've been addressed.
Lol, what’s happening to the comment section? Is everything okay? Anyways, the show was BORING. I stopped watching…
The road to Nabi's and Park Jae-on's character development was definitely a long one, them discovering themselves and realizing their mistakes were between the episodes that you've skipped. Moreover, unlike Nabi, Park Jae-on's character was not a typical kdrama character where one could easily understand his intentions, thoughts and feelings. His character growth were shown with his little actions throughout the drama which an inattentive watcher might missed and also through his subtle changes of emotions and small conversations with the people around him which helped him even more realized his faults in his relationship with Nabi. Also, his fall-outs with Nabi, helped him even more realized the mistakes he was doing and he was hurting the one who loves. His conversation with his mother and Seol-A definitely lingered on him, especially the one by his mother. Therefore, skipping episodes and jumping to the end would definitely felt like the show was dumb for letting them to be together because one failed to witness and understand the growth of the characters and the factors that led them in courageously accepting themselves and the people that they like. Nabi, all throughout the drama was always confused and not confident with her choices not just in love but also in her career; she was gaslighted by her s h i t t y and t o x i c and m a n i p u l a t i v e ex-boyfriend who was even a teacher, her relationship with Jae-on was also misjudged by other people around her and Jae-on was painted as "red flag" through rumors from other people who didn't really know and care about Jae-on. It also didn't help that Jae-on had commitment issues and had always been drawing the line, but through situations which led them both to realize their weaknesses, their faults and mistake, that is when they were able to come together and create their masterpiece—the first one was Nabi's broken sculpture and the last one was the chance to rebuild their relationship again.
Until now, I couldn't believe that this masterpiece is still at 8.5 here, it should've been between 8.7-8.8. It was so good and definitely moving! Lol, I guess people have different tastes, but to those who loved this drama as well, we can all agree that this is one of the best korean dramas out there.
Bro I Just Finished 1st Episode It's Bit Unrealistic And Little CringeIs It Get Better In Upcoming Episodes??
I think if you already dislike the episode 1 then maybe you will not be a fan of its humor too xD. I love watching slapstick comedies so I really loved this one. However, if you want to watch this for its suspenseful and detective elements, I'm not an expert for that but they will be more fleshed out in the upcoming episodes.
