to be honest I don't think Yoo Baek would even do that hehe. I rewatched the scene, I had an inclination that IF IT IS REALLY about a "woman", I think she was scamming Yoo Baek or blackmailing him with a child that is not his or a non existing child. lol, I don't know.

I just knew that I couldn't trust the P.O.V. of a reporter who was always on the search for gossips. I also think that it was parallel to the first misheard phone call on episode 8 by another grandma which thought us that not everything we hear is the truth and it could've been distorted or something, and without the details or further evidence, few words cannot guarantee us the whole truth. Anyway, I think it would really best to forget that about Yoo Baek, since, maybe it was just added to create some "juicy" dialogue for the reporter flashback scene but it was not flesh out and having based on Yoo Baek's character, he's not a bad person.^-^

I also want to write how good Kim Ji Seok is on emotional scenes from Came to Me and Became a Star to Top Star Yoo Baek!

Btw, from the reporter's point of view, I know that everything said about Yoo Baek is not the whole truth and could just be a lie or distorted truth, but I would want to hear some thoughts why Yoo Baek at ep 8 in the phone call talking about abortion?

Sorry but from what I've watched about Yoo Baek, I don't think he would do that to his own child nor he was evil enough to order his girlfriend to do that even before he met Kang Soon.

This drama has beautifully captured the bizarre and simple life of that island! This drama was so endearing, it got me grinning at almost 6 in the morning! Of course, this drama needs to suit some taste, it has that old school feeling, slapstick comedy and a little bit of spices from our cliché tropes that they have spiced up and created their own uniqueness making this drama more hilarious! It was also satisfying to see Yoo Baek's relation with everyone around that island not only his sweet relationship with Kang-soon but with his grandma and his healing relationship with his mother! 11 episodes drama were tight and I believe all has ended with happy hearts and warming conclusion -- everything that you'd want to accept in a romcom!

Wait, I also loved the show but I was wondering about that scene too! I don't waaaaant to believe Yoo Baek had a girlfrend and he wanted her to abort their baby. :< Oh no, I really loved this drama. I also cannot picture Yoo Baek doing or saying that...

alright after Monthly Magazine Home, I am off to watch this!

For future/newbies watchers, this is not a top-notch drama, it has a simple concept and it is a feel good drama with lots of sweet and funny moments that can let you pass those cliché scenarios because they are laughable. If you are into the feel of sitcom, slice of life and romance, then this is a good pick, but you have already been warned not to watch episode 16 because it clearly amplified how weak the writing was to the point of disappointing a lot of viewers not just due to the romance department but because it was anti-climatic and shockingly bad. Don't worry, the chemistry and dynamics of every characters here is good, so just watch episodes 1 - 15 and you're good :>

Hehe I think it was still a romance, but I guess the writing was misguided, especially since the writer wanted to revive the "owning a house" theme but only provided a very short time for it in the ending.

Ah yes, of course the chance is very high but I was just extremely disappointed with the ending xD I can't actually imagine for now that they ended up together because I was so mad.

I haven't watched Drinking Solo but now, I have no intentions. xD A Poem A Day was good, though I wished that their relationship got busted by their co-workers but I can forgive it here if the writing did not get bad in the finale. Coming to think of the ending of Monthly Magazine Home again, if that was really the ending then it was not the worst of course, and open endings are not bad if done good, but since the journey towards that which they showed in the end was poorly executed, I am still disappointed. T-T Just can't understand the need to ruin the whole mood of the drama.

I agree with the comments below that they should've started the plot of the father earlier so they can wrap it up nicely, but they didn't, hence it was poorly executed and felt so unnecessary. ;( I thought I can watch a good drama with some cute romance and many laughs plus good poems, but I guess I need to avoid the writer's next work until I read that the ending will be satisfying xD

If them dating at that time is too much because of the unnecessary plot that the writer created in the last episode, still, they should've a proper communication, not her coldy cutting off things with him and with everyone at the end. I hate the time skip, the emotions weren't delivered properly, I never cried or anything at the end, I was just disappointed.

Okay, since I can no longer erase the ending on my mind, I will just believe that they can start things new from here without baggages and all. >_< They will date again, get married and they will not be scolded by chief editor because they are finally not dating inside the office. BUT, still the episode was so bad. :(

You do not breakup everytime there is a problem. She was so selfish for just cutting things off like that, I want them to heal but with a proper communication first if she really want to stand on her own and provide time but still not thaaaaaaat. it was already good before the ending.

I seriously can't understand why the writing on this episode cannot be better than the previous dramas of 2000s.
