This quote rings soo true with this drama. Lol I think I had second male lead syndrome pretty bad with this drama. Ning's character was just too good ♥

He's accomplished so much, starting at such a young age too. So talented and hard-working! I look forward to seeing more of his future dramas ♥

He was really eye-catching in The Long Ballad!! It was my first time seeing him on screen. Hopefully he will get a lead role eventually!

I can't believe I waited this long to watch this drama!! Such a beautiful masterpiece. All of the cast were so skillful and talented. They did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

On a side note, whoever the costume production person is deserves praise because Leo Wu's costume outfit as the commander is SO perfect!! He looks so handsome in his commander/war outfit. Love it! ♥

I watched this when it first came out in 2019 and still once in awhile the story comes back into my mind. The acting was superb--the cast did a fantastic job and left a lingering impression on your mind. The story is always going to follow me because of all the angst and feelings that I felt while watching each episode. It's just so good. Heartbreaking, but good nonetheless. ♥

He's a great actor with talent! I hope he gets more recognition. He did a great job in JJL!

I honestly love this cast! I have to say Du Ya Fei especially did just a good job acting as Lu YunQi. His acting was superb and really showed the possessiveness of this character. I hope to see more of his work.

Also love PXR, she did amazing as always! In her two works that I've seen, the characters of Xiao Feng (GMP) and Jiuling (JJL) have completely different personalities, and yet she was able to pull both off perfectly. She's so talented and I'm glad to see she's getting more recognition. ♥

PXR is made for historical roles. She does so good, especially in historical dramas!! She's so beautiful and talented. I can't wait to see this one as well

Peng Xiao Ran does one of the best cry scenes. It gives me goosebumps cause it's SO good. She portrays her emotions really well!

So many dramas with her name on it, but no official dates. 😭 I hope they release her dramas soon
