On Stolen Identity 2 Oct 31, 2020
Similar to the first film, it was slow from start to midpoint. The climax scenes were meh, but the plot-twist and character backstory had revived a bit of my attention. There were a lot of predictable moments, including who was involved in the crimes. The suspenseful elements had a weaker impact compared to the first film, which came to my decision of adding a lower rating.

Although I like this drama, the "popular" character being paired with the "unpopular" character storyline annoys…
I understand where you are coming from, and I think many media follow this format because well, it's a common mindset in our universe. Due to Adachi's mind ability, we as audience members are informed that mindset does not apply in most cases.

No matter the rank of an individual, we are all feeling lost at some point in our lives. The episode breaks away that notion with Adachi's gradual realisation and therefore he learns to do what he can do to support the people around him. The episodes message links back to Akaso's interview posted on the official drama website. Akaso mentioned he would have the mindset of trying to mold himself to be more like someone else who is a bit more of a masculine figure, however, he gradually learned to accept himself.

You took the words out of my mouth! This episode was all about the character growth and mindsets of our mainleads.…
One scene that came close to a serious scene was Haruta chasing after Maki both after his homophobic remarks and before marrying Kurosawa. The forehead kiss is also a very iconic scene; it shows Maki similar to Cherry Magic's Kurosawa who also doesn't want to hurt their love admires. They both share the fear of being hated by their most cherished person.

I think the film OL love or dead tries to make up for the gaps the 2018 show missed exploring although it was at the very last moment it was a beautiful scene which hit close to home.

Which is why I think the series has the potential to become bigger than OL. The shows manga platform has over 2 million readers and a smaller circle of characters to explore and grow. Although OL had touched upon LGBT struggles and societal issues including self-acceptance, the storyline was beating around the bush to test the waters with their domestic audience.

Am currently waiting for the ending song to have a full version premier on Youtube. This is how far things are.…
They have an old school nostalgic vibe in their song that somewhat resembles plastic love.

Also, you are so quick! It was only uploaded 6 minutes ago! O.O
Hmm, interesting...Tsuge mentioned he started to hear others thoughts at the age of 32. Which makes me think, do people start hearing thoughts when they are close to their destined soulmate. Maybe I'm reaching lol might as well stick to the manga.

Also, I could definitely relate to Adachi's monologue in the 16 min mark. I do feel helpless at times when you've tried to make the best effort but ended up failing.

Overall, I believe this could be one of the best episodes as the show explores more of the internal depths of both main leads and our supporting FC. I loved how Adachi gradually came to the realisation that not everyone is perfect and how he could focus on what he could do.

Title Pops Loves Kawaii Stuff Spoiler
Maybe but it could also be about male friendship you know? Not everything has to be gay, men can also befriend…
True that, the characters are written with romantic undertones but it could also be interpreted as strong friendship.

Title Kingdom
is there real bromance here??
Strong brotherhood is featured in this film.
Ya'll I swear this show has some kind of spell over it cause I don't remember the last time being this highly invested in a drama series. The only ones I could think of besides this one is OL, Are you human too and western tv shows (e.g. Supernatural and The umbrella academy).

Can't believe we have to wait until December till the show is completed lol.

So, at the rooftop scene of EP3, we see that after Adachi confesses that he didn't hate Kurosawa's kiss, Kurosawa…
I think the crew did a good job adjusting the situation. If we step back and think about it, the live-action is supposed to be of a real-life setting. In Adachi's case, he had a hard time expressing his thoughts because of the given situation. He wanted to understand Kurosawa but wasn't sure if it meant he wants to be kissed or not. In the manga, Adachi seems fairly certain indicated by your mentioned comment. The next episode synopsis summaries Adachi's uncertainty so the story would flow better.
