I'm not sure it's not only me, but I came from LBFAD to see Orchid and Chang Heng have a happy ending 🙃.
The first part up to 18/ got me pretty hooked but honestly the ending fell slightly flat. I'm also disappointed and unfair for the main leads being over shadowed by the second leads, with more screen time and better and engaging story written for the characters. It didn't feel like a Yun zhi Yu but a Qian Shang Jue. The only reason I believe we won't get a second season is the leads won't be working with the director again as rumors says he was trying to use Esther and Zhang Ling He publicity to promote the second leads. Poor Zhang Ling he constantly justifying his character on weibo. ...
