I feel like you, Since the beginning of the show, I’ve had a lot of trouble finishing an episode it took me a week for the first two. And yet I didn’t follow them completely, I skipped a lot. And now that I’m in episode 4, I’ve decided to let it go. This story won’t appeal to me, on the contrary, it’s even very boring, it’s like a déjà vu. We don’t have to go any further. We know exactly where history takes us.

Glad I'm not the only one rooting for Do Yeon and the other detective, their interaction are way too cute! Plus…
Honestly, I don't ship any couples, I'm not really interested. But their interaction gave me the impression that this was the direction the director was taking, even though the scene only lasted a few seconds.

Title Alice
No matter how they tried to say it otherwise, she is the same person as his mom who had 100% DNA match, so eitherway…
In fact you say one thing and its opposite, it's precisely because we've all watched TKEM and TRAIN that the idea is disturbing. To take TKEM as an example, it is exactly as if Luna from Corea Republic came to have feelings for Jung Tae Eul's father. The idea's absurd, wouldn't you agree?
Where you are telling the truth it's when you say that they are two different people, it is because each one comes from a different universe, and therefore are eventually promised to a different destiny. If we take the example of Train, when Jung-Min of World 2 saw that Do-won of her world had to die in indifference in order to let Do-Won of World 1 enjoy his identity; she had a hard time accepting it because in her eyes even if it's almost biologically the same person, intrinsically they are two different people. In her world, this Do-Won is not the one with whom she shared her time.

To conclude, concerning Alice only a thesis other than the parallel universe and time travel can justify a romantic relationship between the leads. Since for the time being we have been told that she is another version of her mother, there can be absolutely nothing going on for the time.

Guys chill!!! In many Korean dramas, dating your friend's ex or your sister's husband's brother is almost taboo, let alone an almost incestuous relationship. They will never cross the line.
And even if they’re pulling out a lame story of a doppelganger and not a parallel world, it’d still be hard to get through. Because they had the misfortune to sell us first and foremost the story of J.G. and his mother. And I don’t think the writer wants to invoke such a stupid excuse to justify some kind of romance.
Don't be afraid this phase is just a comic relief of the story, Even it's not funny at all. Nothing will happen between leads, in fact I'm pretty sure there will be no romance at all, except maybe DY and JG colleague.

I'll see this through for the time being, in the hopes that things don't go down the weird path haha. I'm really…
Yeah that's it! At first it was disturbing to see, but after watch it again I realized he was the same toward her. His feelings are always the same, she reminds him of his mother, so he can't help but protect her, because he couldn't do it with her. If he has feelings for her, they're purely fraternal or friendly.
Now about TY I feel like writer adding her crush on him as a comic effect to the story. Something that will make them laugh when she learns that even though she didn't give birth to him, she shares the same DNA as her mother.

there's no need to lower it as it's more than fair... if S2 first part was as good as S1 then the rating would…
I totally agree with you, I remember during the 1st season, the investigation didn't interest me that's why it was hard to watch it in the beginning. But as the episodes progressed some dialogues were strong and the story became good for me cause it was more human, the struggle of everybody life, the beliefs of some who thinks they can change the world only by doing the wrong thing, or those who thinks that we should only follow the manual to maintain peace.
As i said before this drama is a Hit or Miss. Especially this 2nd season because it's more about politics and the life in administration. This season is an everyday life, 2 peoples who know each other and work in different field, will not meet often. Especially if the issue that concerns them at the moment forces them to take sides for their respective group.
I don't know if I like this season more because I found it more intelligent than the 1st one.

For my part I really enjoy the pace, the story and the dialogue.

The eternal debate "If 1st season is better than the 2nd one" is still open as I see . For my part both are good in their own way.
I see 2nd season more like a spin off of the 1st one. Some characters remain the same but the nature of their work has evolved. Evidence, the new jobs of SM and YJ are more about politics and administration.
The 1st season deals more with fieldwork through investigations and the question of the ethics of each person's job then. The 2nd, on the other hand, focuses on the procedures and methods necessary for each person's job.

Every taste are in the nature!!! I'm one one those who find IOTNBO or Itaewon Class hard to watch, but it's okay, this one is more my thing. So don't try hard if you don't feel it, drop it.
For the time being, the arguments I read here and there to justify the present that says that the first season is better than the second have not convinced me, it's more a smear campaign than valid arguments. When a debate is raised, let us each have the strength of our arguments. One thing that's true about this show is that it's not for everyone, in both the first and second season. ( I know a lot of people who drop the first season, saying it was too boring).

Now let’s get back to our sheep, about last weekend’s episodes, we were all able to see through the hands of the culprit that it was a young man or a woman.
1st The boy interrogated by SDJ. During his interview with , he demonstrated that he was extremely clever and quite familiar with the law. In addition, there was a blur on his identity, as well as on his place of residence. What if one of his parents were connected to one of the many cases submitted from the beginning? Like the drowning case or Segok officer murder!

Second theory, much more plausible: the kidnapper is the one who was assaulted by the young boy. He would be angry by SDJ or rather the system because his attacker escaped punishment cause he is too young.

Or the female prosecutor, there's something about her who bothers me but I don't know what. Is she in love with SDJ, or his lover? Or is it just esteem?

For my part I don't have any struggle with the ongoing dramas, on the contrary it's more my thing.
I can’t stand binge watching, it affects my interest. I don’t know how to focus on something for a long time outside of a book or my work. Very often I had to give up a series because in the meantime I had something else to do or I skip every moment I find useless, which if I had watched it live would certainly not have bothered me. As for the spoilers, it never bothered me because it doesn’t kill my interest in anything. On the contrary, sometimes it is thanks to them that I continue to watch a drama that I had perhaps planned to give up.

I will not be harsh as you, but I agree with some points. There were some beautiful scenes here and there, but something about this script seemed off for me. At some point that it was really hard to end an episode... So I skipped a lot of things.
I learned that beauty is on the eye on the beholder so Everybody is right... There's a lot of popular dramas that I'd really hate like DOTS, Full House The Heirs, Itaewon etc... and people always asked me how??? And I get there are just not my type...
On Stranger Season 2 Aug 17, 2020
Lol i see that lots of people didn't really understand what was the plot of this 2nd season. The accident of the 1st episode is just a way to introduce the story and the new characters. That will be not the case to investigate at all, but what SDJ gave to the Prosecutor: The suspicious death of the Police man.
This season is a political debate about who should have all the rights to investigate a case. And all the death suspicious or minor are already instrumentalised by both, police and prosecutors.
For my part I found it interesting because as in real life, minors things can bring chaos. And you can already see it during the conversation between Shi Mok and his former chief.
I remember during the 1st season, the investigation didn't interest me that's why it was hard to watch it in the beginning. But as the episodes progressed the dialogues were so strong and the story became so good for me cause it was more human, the struggle of everybody life, the beliefs of some who thinks they can change the world only by doing the wrong thing, or those who thinks that we should only follow the manual to maintain peace.

I dropped or didn't watch all the dramas of your list even those you say you like didn't hit me at all ????. Among all those i can't even say what was worst for me.
Eternal love of dream: never watch it cause the FL was my nightmare in the original version. I don't know if I ever hated a character like this. I already struggle to watch it cause of FX (don't like chinese dramas FX or Fight scenes), add her whiney character to it, it was hard.
Drama_woman Aug 4, 2020
Train and The good detective are my favorites ongoing dramas. It's too bad they don't have the same hype as some others, because they deserve more praises. It's well written, it's like read a good thriller book.
Jeana Aug 1, 2020
I drop all those except Mr Sunshine that was extremely good surprise ( I found the writer over rated).
I really love the article, it's important to realise that every taste is in the nature.
So even the bad drama will always have a public. And the popular one will have critics ( Not a huge fan of IOTNBO ? Weird yeah?).
I always give a chance to a drama even after listen bad things. So I always make myself an opinion when comes drama.

I'm the fastest dropper alive. ??
I hate all those thing for sure, but the most annoying is the intimacy, I don't talk about bed scene, but kiss or skin ship. 2 adults in love act like teenagers, it's weird, because everyone knows that 2 people in love always touch or kiss each other. Something in the rain was the only one drama good in it.
And don't talk to me about the So adult man who never ever have any relationships even if he's over 35.
And the destiny thing, the childhood link etc. So lame.
That's the reason why thrillers are always my number one choices.

It is logical that you do not like the couple of Doctors, Park Shin Hye is very bad actress, it does not help…
Lol i thought i was the only one who thinks like that, but I'm not sure if she's bad actress or she choose wrong dramas?!?!? the only drama of her i did finish was Memory of the Alhambra, and it was because of the story, till now I ask myself what was the purpose of her character? So unnecessary... And knowing her future drama is with one my favourite actor (Cho Seung Woo), I'm already desperate.??

I never watched Outlander but a friend explain to me how great the book are so I think I will read it to try !…
I tend to hate adaptations of a tv show. I didn't like Life on Mars like anybody, i dropped TWOM because I did alrealdy know and love the original, the same for Suits or Designated survivor. And it's the same for occidental adaptations of something, I don't watch us good doctor. I think that I have a problem when I alrealdy know the original version of something.
But Dexter is my forever best tv show till now and I know that asian drama can be on the top when comes thrillers one.
And I remember loving more the adaptation of the killing more than the original. ?
