I don't think watching Dark will help you understand Alice. It now feels like the writer managed to binge-watch…

One of the many questions I have in this episode: How come he's not shocked to meet TY 2020 when we all know she's exactly the same as his mother? They're not gonna tell us he forgot his own mother's face, are they? Besides DY was already his friend before the Reset, since she is the one who took him to choose his mother's cake, how come they don't know each other anymore? And who wrote the book of prophecy?
Another inconsistency is the existence of JG and TY. If we assume that the Reset only brought the events back to the day of his mother's murder, then it didn't cancel the time travel at all, but rather the events following the murder. Moreover, they sufficiently explaining us the origins of JG and TY, the first one being creating from a father and a mother coming from the future; the second one being stemming from a mother also coming from the future. Based on this principle, the existence of these two can only be due to the elements mentioned recently, i.e. without time travel; THEIR EXISTENCE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELS ITSELF OUT.

I'm a fan of fantasy drama. But those you mentioned was far way too good for this one. Watch at your own risk.…
The light in your Eyes (Radiant) is one the most beautiful drama I've watched so far... About Alice as a lot I have a mix feelings with it But not because of what everyone's complaining about, but rather because of the execution of the story. In my opinion, I find it too confusing. However, I would advise you to make up your own opinion by watching it. Because all tastes are out, maybe you'll like it.

I highly recommend it. Dark provokes a severe, but pleasant headache for the spectator. The first season puts the mechanics in place, each episode bringing a gear to a brilliant narrative clockwork. It's pretty clear, despite the many characters and temporal crossover hunts. And his last episode ends with a cliffhanger making the wait for the sequel unbearable. This season displays an authentic trademark, by an exceptional production quality, with numerous sets, reconstructions, and an ultra careful realization by the light, the composition of the frames, the camera movements or the editing. Not to mention an almost perfect performance. In short, a brilliant hypnotic puzzle, just like the credits. In my opinion Dark is much more than just Sci Fi - it's a lot of human, environmental and philosophical issues behind it.
Paradoxically, it's as complicated as it is clear that I had to read each interview with the writers to understand how they never lost track.

Nope... I will say some bad directing decisions that confuse the viewer's mind but I am 100% sure that there will be no romance.

Of all your recommendations, I followed only one to the end. I have a lot of worries with cdramas, even if it's true that it's naturally to them that I turn to when I have nothing more to watch on the Korean side, I nevertheless abandon 98% of them. The narrative quality of these dramas sometimes leaves me doubtful, especially when it comes to romantic contemporary stories. It's full of the worst clichés in a scenario as poor as it is insipid. Recently, I tried to follow again all the successful dramas on networks like The Untamed, Love is sweet and Dating in the Kitchen, it was again a big disappointment. On the other hand, I think cdrama have a nice touch when it comes to serious historical and political dramas, not the Oh my emperor type, even when there's romance, they don't always lose quality. But then I find very few scenarios like that.
On Stranger Season 2 Oct 7, 2020
The biggest mistake of the second season was to be out 3 years after the first. It is tainted with the nostalgia it has left in people’s memories. We always prefer everything comes 1st because it brings the beauty of novelty. Stranger 1 introduced a new kind of Thriller, so many, even I expected to relive the same story with season 2.
But after watched it I realized, Stranger 2 isn’t really a season 2, it’s more a Spin off of the first season. Some characters are still there but the story is quite different.
The critics who came back had nothing to do with the quality of the script but rather the codes that defined season 1, Precisely the SM-YJ duo, an investigation conducted throughout the season, the emphasis on secondary characters to the detriment of the main characters. I fully understand these reproaches, one of the goals of a tv show is to follow its established codes and eventually improve its content.
But all these shortcomings in no way detract from the script quality of this season 2. Contrary to the first one, it's much closer to reality, and it MAYBE this that takes away the Blockbuster side of the previous season. Here it's the real life of the job where the hero is not necessarily someone who shines, but rather lives under the codes of a humiliating hierarchy. This season begins as calmly as possible with a good metaphorical scene of Fog, I really love it, You perfectly understand the link between this scene and the original title of the drama, it's a rather original way of saying to the audience, Welcome back to the Forest of Secrets.
Here we talk a lot, a lot, because as in real life everything is a political issue and every word has its importance, it is a power War between two giants.
So It is understandable that such long and difficult to understand conversations are necessary, as well as the introduction of all these new characters.
If you like me, are interested in political and mind games then you will have fun... This season starts very slowly, but don’t let yourself be discouraged, the more you go to the fog of the story, the more fascinating it will be. FOR MY PART, IF THIS SEASON DIDN'T HAVE THAT FANCY SIDE OF SEASON 1, IT STIL SHINES IT OWN WAY, CAUSE IT HAVE A MUCH BETTER, SMARTER, MORE ELABORATE AND REALISTIC SCENARIO.

I blame Dark for my high standards. Instead of just going along with the story and watching how it develops, I…
Dark is one of those shows that proves the SF doesn’t necessarily have to be a big-budget thing where the scenario is shielded by futuristic tricks like in blockbusters. Sometimes You just only need a good scenario and a few actors to create something beautiful. What I liked most about this series are the philosophical and human questions posed around the question of time travel. Many of them echo our own lives.

After watching episode 14, I felt really disappointed. How could the author make Kim Hu Jeong the kidnapper of…
It's a strange way of thinking, being from a good family and being intelligent exempts you from the moment of madness that every human being has experienced at least once in his life?
On the contrary, I think that's a very well thought-out reason. As in real life this student's story is similar to the snowball effect, it is the accumulation of many bad things that pushed him to the extreme. You gotta consider the psychology of this kid. He was harassed for over 15 years.
It reminds me exactly the same story as in the first season, the culprit was also an all-around good guy who also had a painful history.
I think the message the writer wants to give us is that not all killers are heartless monsters or serial killers as we like to believe, many unfortunately have a similar story as ours, and that rage or pain pushes them to make the wrong decisions.

I will ask the question more simply, what is the formula in this case that applies to this drama? At the beginning I had just gone on the mechanism explained by OW, because it explained rather well the situations experienced by Alice's travellers. But the trip with JG and TY brings this process into question.

This is exactly my problem from the beginning, I keep saying that the fact that the functioning of the time travel…
I have no problem with the question of time travel I understand it correctly, being a lover of reading it is a recurring subject in the SF world. What's disturbing ? are the basics used in this drama. What are they? Each work has its own way of describing the mechanism used for time travel. Which is not the case here. We are always giving each one of us a theory on this issue because some events contradict others. Some believe that it is strictly about time travel, while others believe that it is more about parallel worlds, where others say that they are separate time lines. WHO'S RIGHT THEN?
Again, to take up examples that have been cited several times, TRAIN and TKEM more or less handled this type of subject, and because the codes had already been defined from the beginning, we knew exactly what it was about.
