i do have 2 say u can criticize the way it is delivered and the flaws within personality even within the story and criticize what we find "appealing" in a story but it doesn't mean a write-off...people are allowed to talk about it and call out what they believe to be seen and that one kid looks insane lmao the only reason i thought of that is cos it wont romanticize bullshit but does it challenge it? does it make sense? if you're not a great person you will, almost certainly, end up alone and tired. it is what it is

dramas (afaik that arent movies) tend to shy away from this stuff anyways i mean it's gotten better but....i think ppl also forget that in hs and in your 20s you're not usually having wild fantastic sex (frequent = / = good by noooo means lmao) it's a really turbulent time figuring yourself out lmao some ppl go their whole lives terrible kissers!

anyway i would like the truth and a critical review it's so unfortunate to see so many comments talk about the reactions to the show or how they feel other people take it and not approaching it by talking about the content of the show. too many positive comments/reviews and very little nuance makes me wonder about it,,,..

exactly like you said. i was so furious; women die because they want to save babies over women, they cannot terminate if the baby is literally killing them, they get no support pre-and-post abortion and they have to deal with the judgement. i doubt a show would do this but maybe one day we ccould see the repercussions of such behavior or have a show highlight self-managed abortions in a time where bodies are up for grabs by the state and patriarchal obsession.

i didn't know this :( i agree with you wholeheartedly. no one should risk their lives for that. i'd rather his acting not suit me than him ever feeling that pain. he did an amazing job but i can imagine it fucks you up. that's really fucking sad but i'm glad he's ok? ugh that is really unfortunate to hear. an actor recently passed away because of a role...no one should have to be that immersed in it for art

i was getting rly frustrated with dramas with millenials and slice of life and just how boring they want young people to seem in some so it's nice to see a bunch of young people in such a precarious place in their lives trying to get through and have fun! [even during a pandemic lmao]
