yea i think that's another thing people are conflating the conversation and critique (since it is now ABOUT this) with like. arguing. people can still post their opinions. a person made a long and detailed comment behind a spoiler and i liked it bc it was an interpretation/potential of what the drama could have done. i skimmed it but im gonna go back to it. very fascinating and cool.

i see what you're saying but i don't think that is more important. everyone there is safe and fine for now like you and i (well i hope). particularly the actors. the production will be fine. it does suck as an artist to see, esp if that isn't what they meant, but if those people have any sense of self they'll be okay. if someone in the cast and crew feel like it is maligning them then they are free to speak. it may be difficult but that's part of the problem, isn't it? that people do not want to face consequences or sacrifice. so we are here now.

there is something we can do about it! and you have a point but imagine:

plenty of these people upset are muslim and/or arab and/or asian. some of us know more about this situation than the average person. a lot of viewers are at the very least liberal and have a normie position ("ceasefire"). it is the internet. netflix is implicated either way but why should the viewers wait on the clarification if they have some background on this? me personally, besides being black, being thrown on the ground by police and watching comrades get pepper sprayed and seeing on the news black people spit on, called the n word, and having a sniper team pointed at them in service of our and palestinian liberation? yea! i take this seriously! i enjoy the show! but from what i know about this and the world and sk, there is precedent to believe that they WOULD do this. the saving grace of this debacle is that i think hhj WAS kidnapped by white men in balaclavas who spoke english ie the isrlis. but also bc of what i know this makes no sense!!!! so we need CLARIFICATION. it's not just netflix atp—it is the showrunner's or anyone with authority and visibility's duty to elucidate on what this is if things are going this far. to ignore it is cowardly. palestinians are being murdered literally right now. as we speak. for THEIR/OUR "comfort"!

you cannot blame the public in this instance for a reaction because either way it is someone in this pipeline's fault and that is unacceptable. for the show, a quick way to become a hero is to open your mouth and explain what happened given what i pointed out about the militants and the view in which the show seemed to think of argan. and if the storyline did do what i wanted it to then that means, had they spoke earlier, that would be a HUGE positive in context of the show and what it says about domination at all. i really need people to think more critically about why this reaction is even coming about. it is not as base as everyone wants to make it seem.
