enjoy the way the show plays with time wrt editing. "ask why i haven't revealed it yet" is a good way to approach it. it's a romance yea but for once this romance that revolves around a mystery isn't frustrating because of a random serial killer. it's atrocious rich parents with no regards for children's autonomy. csb is knocking it out of the park. they both are obviously but she literally doesn't speak for most of this drama and when she delivers her most tough moments she's signing.

i love how smart the women are in this show and how they aren't competing over men—surprising because it seems the source material is very different. and sae on isn't actually terrible lol well he is in the i hate rich people way but ykwim. like i get it for him. they're both incredibly fucked up and the way they're falling in love is actually very weird but that works for them and i love to see it and when they actually kiss we are gonna die. i can't believe i fucking watched all this i'm so angry also the second leads??? ugh i die. i'll shut up before i go on lmao but there's a lot of good stuff to think abt. really good pacing and writing. entertaining and sexy yay

idk how the novel is but in this show the takeaway is not that men that act like this are good. like at all. they are literally likening marriage to imprisonment lmao so i don't think we can sever critique of what men do, how they act, and what women do and act to go further/go along with it should be ignored. it's pretty in our face.
