was willing to get over my disdain for joss for a second and pirate this. the thing that ruins this for me is the fucking faces gawin makes. no shade but he lost weight and his veneers are distracting; he pulls his mouth in quite a bit when he's thinking but his eyebrow use has gone down a little i think. the caveman standing next to him is passable. this doesn't make him a bad person for any decision he chose to make with his body. for acting, however, he needs movement classes for moving in that body. i know i can't be the only person with this issue. it is driving me nuts.

i like bp together though i'm not really a fan of their series. this is fine. my biggest issue with this series is their chemistry feels rly muted. the thing i like about them isn't being utilized to its fullest when theyve grown so much. from an acting and technical perspective everything feels so contained. like this is supposed to be a lot of sensuality, high emotions, intensity, and this television channel cannot manage it.
it's well shot though or at least i find very pleasant to look at, i like the shot choices, and the coloring a lot. it's competent enough which isn't the highest compliment, not the lowest. sometimes i can't take the genre as seriously as others and i'm hyper critical so ymmv but would i personally recommend it /as/ a fan of theirs? probably not lol maybe on a day off if ur bored (like i am having today).
