After watching up to episode 5 this week, I realized that the 2nd female lead (ChuChu, the naive-looking office assistant that's always falling over the CEO) has the same name as the 2nd female lead (ChuChu, 2nd Princess or the General) in The Romance of Tiger and Rose (RTR) mainland Chinese drama... I read that people are comparing this Taiwanese drama with the Chinese drama because both main female leads are writers and dream-traveled into their stories. However I liked the male lead in RTR because he displayed more ranges of emotions convincingly and he's a more interesting character.... Hehehe... :D
So i made it til episode 16 subbed then watched til 20 raw to see if it got better...way to much up and down melodrama…
Personally I don't mind some melodrama but only if the story plot is clever and interesting, I can watch it. But in the end, this drama's writing got kinda messy, IMO. The main leads story ended being silly and not interesting. Even the side couples' stories are so boring. There is nothing much to save this show, IMO. Plus I also find the background music loud and weird - It didn't suit the moments of the scenes. Hahaha....
I really liked the pace of the drama until episode 12/13 where he suddenly lost his memories again/2nd time, that happened after they slept together. The ML forgot about the FL and the reason why he loved her, he was suspicious about her, distrust her and even demoted her to the Archive Room. He didn't know why he bought over her ex-boss company just to get her and then he tried to fire her. Come on, Writers! This is soooo lame..... Surely, he must be wondering what happened during his blackout period? Weeks or months must have passed away. Didn't he ask his brain-surgeon- friend what happened to him? Didn't he have photos of him and FL together taken in the photo booth as proof of their relationship? I think the plot has lost its way, and now that I am up to episode 16 where the FL is accused of selling out company secrets, I am just loosing interest in this drama. It started really well with a story of a dominant CEO chasing after a reluctant secretary-cum-ex-GF, but now I think the story is getting messy with 2nd amnesia and the company losing out a big project that will ruin them; Sigh, time to move on to another drama.....LOL....
Muse was subbing this but dropped it b/c ppl steal their work. I liked Muse because they worked so fast, go subs…
I've just read on MUSE website that they are dropping the subbing of this lakorn. I'm really upset with the selfish people who kept on stealing the works of Muse. Now I am also looking for other places that are subbing this drama. I read somewhere that there's a Facebook group doing this
What a wonderful movie. I love it, and the main lead student couple is adorable. It is a pity that the ending with the grown up lead couple was too short. I wish they show how they fall in love again and get married or something
I like this drama because of the main couple but I skipped all the scenes of the silly stalker secretary and the lame so-called girl-phobia brain surgeon. I think it's a waste of my time and not interested in their story. LOL....
I will only watch this drama for Johnny Huang, and I find Dilraba's acting to be average, imo...... Plus this drama is just too long. I'm not interested in the 2nd leads and I just don't know why Chinese dramas like to give more scenes to 2nd or 3rd leads. Sigh.... I'm dropping this drama

they reconcile back together in ep 21, but then all out again but they get back together again in ep 23.
I cannot believe there is 36 episodes for this drama! The producers should have just kept it at 24 episodes and save the viewers some time and frustration... hahaha... :))
Hahaha... yes, I actually like Thai lakorns, and in the back of my mind while watching this C-drama, I was thinking it looks too much like a Thai lakorn... LOL.. :P :P
You are right! I started watching this drama yesterday because the story sounded interesting but after watching up to episode 10, I got so sick of seeing the poor sweet FL getting abused, tortured and mistreated in many ways (incl. poisoned, hot oil thrown at her face, hot wax on her injured hand, whipped, water torture, etc.) in every episode by jealous the concubines and the stupid and weak ruler/ML didn't help her nor do more to punish the jealous mean concubines. How then can I get to like this drama? In addition, I noticed that the flow of the story is not consistent and not interesting enough for me to invest my time to stay in the story. Perhaps I have been spoiled by the Romance of Tiger and Rose drama... LOL.. :))
