The preview to episode 8 proves that Qing Feng deserves Xiao En.
I really wanted that Qing Feng to end up with Xiao En. He deserves the most love in this drama because he is such a wonderful, kind and understanding male lead..... :D
After episode 6, I find that I really cannot stand Chu Chu anymore. She is either overly naive/innocent dumb damsel-in-distress or just pretending to be like that. Seriously, I don't see what Ao Ran (ML) sees in her because I find her to be so boring (perhaps the writer of the novel made her like this... LOL). I just kept rolling my eyes whenever I see them together.... for example: (1) she screamed loudly when she pricked her finger (it was a really tiny prick!) and Ao Ran quickly ran and nursed the super tiny wound; (2), same day returning from the resort, she quickly went to Ao Ran's house just to return his business card holder (SERIOUSLY ?!) - she could have returned it next day at the office (even Ao Ran said so!!) and I can't remember what Chu Chu said because I was just about to lose it.... hahahaha... :))
Finished watching episodes 1 - 2, and I find the story fast paced. It is filled with over-the-top jaw-dropping moments (for me) ...LOL. I already feel sorry for the main female lead (FL) Chollada aka Dao because she has a lot to deal with on her plate. She has a sick father and lots of medical bills to pay, so she had to borrow money from a creepy and slimy-looking Mr. Robert who pressures her to wear tight, beautiful clubbing-worthy clothes for work (that is, she is a honey trap for The Plan). She has to deal with Kasidit aka Dit (the ML)'s possessiveness of her against his business rival, Mahanati aka Nam (2nd ML), who met her few days earlier and is very interested in her. On top of this, Dao had to deal with 2 jealous women (Anna and Kot) who are vying for the attentions of Dit and Mahanati. At the office, she had to deal with the resentments of the current secretary (Metta) who gave her old PC and furniture for her office desk (hahaha...) I find it unbelievable that Dit hired Dao as his secretary on the spot and requested her to start work IMMEDIATELY - on the same day as her interview (Wow!!). For her 2nd working day, she had to accompany him for a business trip/conference in Pattaya and ended-up sharing the same hotel suite with him (shocking!). And then on her 3rd working day, she received expensive gifts from both male leads. I guess she is the most luckiest secretary ever, and even drives Mercedes-Benz car to work .... hahaha.... What else can happen in the next coming episodes?
I will start watching this just for Bai Lu and Xu Kai. I was surprised when I saw the list of supporting casts for this drama, and I recognized most of them after watching so many C-dramas now. I am also really surprised that the producers cast a young actor as the main male lead; he is only 19 !! Wwow
This is just my opinion, but I noticed that if the C-dramas have less than 30 episodes, the story-plot will not drag too much and it will be interesting. Especially the modern C-dramas where they have the usual tropey-cliche story of rich-cold-arrogant CEO meets the poor-lively-hardworking female lead and they fight and fell in love - kind of dramas.
I don't know why i can finish ‘i’ve fallen for you’ (2020) yet i cant seem to finish ep 1 of this drama..
I had the same problem with you with "I've Fallen For You", and I dropped it after 3 episodes. But after a few months, I picked it up again and I found out that it got better. I fast-forwarded through episodes 4 - 7, and then after 8 episodes the drama got interesting - it was when the ML started to fall for the FL but she wanted to divorce him because she thought the 2nd ML was her childhood-playmate-brother. Anyways, back to this wonderful drama "Under The Power". I was also reluctant to watch this drama at first but after reading good reviews about it, I started slowly. The first 10 episodes were slow but I find the ML to be engaging and interesting, and his chemistry with the FL was cute and endearing. For me, the drama got really interesting after episode 11 - when the ML started to fall for the FL (seen from the warm and loving way he looked at her) and tolerated her brash yet cute behavior - and I managed to finish the whole drama in 3 days. I admit that I also fast forwarded through the boring politics part of the drama and just focus on the main lead couples.
It mentioned 13 eps ..it supposed to be 16 ep no?!!
I don't understand much about Thai lakorns production, but is this drama not pre-produced before airing? Why it is being aired immediately after the production? Is that why the producers can reduce the number of episodes if the ratings are low?
One of my favorite re-watch dramas, but I don't understand two things. 1. Why does she still go to the outdoor…
LOL.... this is also one of my favorite modern C-dramas, and this drama was the 1st time I saw Zhao Li Ying acted in. Anyways, referring to your 2nd question. I also noticed that the CEO liked to wear the outdoor coats and jackets inside the buildings, and I just assumed that visually, the producers want to make him look super cool and handsome. Now I have another question too; What kind of super tinted glass films did the CEO uses on his office windows, that it did not show him yet we can see the furniture outline in his office? Isn't it creepy that everyday for 1 month, he was spying on the FL while she lunched on his balcony? Hehehe......
Just for those leaving hate.it's okay as long as you state your opinion without any hate and criticism is also…
Personally, I was not that impressed with Kim Soo Hyun in "Moon Embracing the Sun" and "You Who Came from the Stars", and in the end, I dropped these 2 dramas. I have never watched Dream High dramas and I am also not interested in his latest drama "It's OK not to be OK"; perhaps I find him to be too beautiful to take him seriously... LOL... but perhaps I can watch this movie because the story sounds interesting. Perhaps it will be like my experience with Yoo Ah In. When the first time I saw him it was in Chicago Typewriter and somehow I did not like him as I find him too arrogant for my liking; But later, I watched him in "Jang Ok Jung" and "Secret Love Affair". I really love him then as I find him to be mesmerizing and awesome in these 2 dramas. Anyways, everyone has their own tastes for dramas and movies... LOL...
I was hoping that this latest drama with Ji Chang Wook can improve his popularity again, but again I am disappointed; I did not like his role in "Melting Me Softly". Yet I really liked his past dramas (Empress Ki, Healer, and K2) but somehow, he is not doing well now it seems. Perhaps he should start playing in action-packed/thriller dramas again. Sorry Chang Wook, I loved you but this drama is again a NO for me..... LOL
