Why is it that such nice period costumes C-dramas have problems with getting English subtitles while other modern/fluffy rom-coms are being subbed quickly? :P :P
If you can read Indonesian, you can go to Youtube , find WeTV Indonesia and watch them there with Indonesian Sub.…
Finally, the day has come that I can use my knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malaysia to watch Chinese Drama - cool..... LOL - although I wish that I can understand Chinese (Mandarin)
I NEVER HAVE BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE FOR THAT KIND OF ENDING. It got me excited at first last few min…
This reminds me of the C-drama "Goodbye My Princess", which also has a sad ending. But people should not let the sad ending stop you from watching the drama, because the story might be good; who knows?
So Twelfth Night is about a shipwrecked woman, Viola, who disguises herself as a man in order to work for the…
SERIOUSLY you people! Because of all these discussions, I actually had to watch/re-watch, re-play and pay attention to the drama intro, just to see the actors/actresses, male bracelets and 12th Night book, roses, burnt US$100 note ..... LOL... anyway I am really enjoying to be part of this discussion.. Let me put my thinking cap on and ponder more about the subtle signs of this drama.. I am loving it... XD
I was thinking about rewatching this, it was nice but then I remember the age gap, wow! Would I date someone 20…
I would if he looks like Park Seo Joon.... LOL.... Actually, I did date a young man who was 15 years younger than me, and he did the chasing all the way. We were together for 6 months. It was fun while it lasted
I agree with you. I have watched a few of Dilraba's dramas (costume periods and modern ones) and in the end, I find her to be an average actress. Yes, she is beautiful but she needs to improve her acting more (this is my opinion).
Aww... finally reached the end of the Uncut version and what another lovely journey. With several hours worth of…
Does the Uncut version have more moments between the main leads, Por Date/Khun P and Mae Karakade, Khun Reung and Mae Ying Junward, Por Lek, etc? If yes, then I will consider watching the Uncut Version. However, if more scenes are added to the historical and politics part of the drama, I will just skip it.
Exactly as Brownie said. Traditionally a kiss with lips is considered a sexual act in Thailand (as it was the…
I noticed this kind of Sniff Kiss when I watched the period lakorn Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat (Love Destiny) for the 1st time - where Pope would kiss Bella's cheeks this way. I actually find it to be more affectionate and probably cultural-appropriate because I guess kissing on the lips/mouth is more a western thing and considered more sexual. Even in my country, the lips/mouth kissing scenes (also sex acts scenes) are censored from imported films and dramas. Personally, I would prefer to see Kisses on cheeks or foreheads instead of bad lips kissing, like done poorly in many Asian dramas..... LOL
The preview to episode 8 proves that Qing Feng deserves Xiao En.
I really wanted that Qing Feng to end up with Xiao En. He deserves the most love in this drama because he is such a wonderful, kind and understanding male lead..... :D
After episode 6, I find that I really cannot stand Chu Chu anymore. She is either overly naive/innocent dumb damsel-in-distress or just pretending to be like that. Seriously, I don't see what Ao Ran (ML) sees in her because I find her to be so boring (perhaps the writer of the novel made her like this... LOL). I just kept rolling my eyes whenever I see them together.... for example: (1) she screamed loudly when she pricked her finger (it was a really tiny prick!) and Ao Ran quickly ran and nursed the super tiny wound; (2), same day returning from the resort, she quickly went to Ao Ran's house just to return his business card holder (SERIOUSLY ?!) - she could have returned it next day at the office (even Ao Ran said so!!) and I can't remember what Chu Chu said because I was just about to lose it.... hahahaha... :))
Finished watching episodes 1 - 2, and I find the story fast paced. It is filled with over-the-top jaw-dropping moments (for me) ...LOL. I already feel sorry for the main female lead (FL) Chollada aka Dao because she has a lot to deal with on her plate. She has a sick father and lots of medical bills to pay, so she had to borrow money from a creepy and slimy-looking Mr. Robert who pressures her to wear tight, beautiful clubbing-worthy clothes for work (that is, she is a honey trap for The Plan). She has to deal with Kasidit aka Dit (the ML)'s possessiveness of her against his business rival, Mahanati aka Nam (2nd ML), who met her few days earlier and is very interested in her. On top of this, Dao had to deal with 2 jealous women (Anna and Kot) who are vying for the attentions of Dit and Mahanati. At the office, she had to deal with the resentments of the current secretary (Metta) who gave her old PC and furniture for her office desk (hahaha...) I find it unbelievable that Dit hired Dao as his secretary on the spot and requested her to start work IMMEDIATELY - on the same day as her interview (Wow!!). For her 2nd working day, she had to accompany him for a business trip/conference in Pattaya and ended-up sharing the same hotel suite with him (shocking!). And then on her 3rd working day, she received expensive gifts from both male leads. I guess she is the most luckiest secretary ever, and even drives Mercedes-Benz car to work .... hahaha.... What else can happen in the next coming episodes?
I will start watching this just for Bai Lu and Xu Kai. I was surprised when I saw the list of supporting casts for this drama, and I recognized most of them after watching so many C-dramas now. I am also really surprised that the producers cast a young actor as the main male lead; he is only 19 !! Wwow
