What's the point of the story for them being twins? They could've been 1 year apart so we would have seen some interesting scenes. 5 texts and no call in 12 eps. While the whole plot around her is that relationship with her twin and mom. Kinda strange (bad).
Anyway it was fine. Watched a lot of scenes in X2 cause I didnt wanna see some characters (ex wife) on screen.
Very hard first 10 episodes for me. Insane plot, insane acting, very good writing. BUT Han Joo Won was really an hard to watch character. He's a rich useless kid but keeps talking like he's insanely good and useful. He just achieved killing 2 people (by mistake).
BUT (again) what was insane is that I really think its made on purpose. I thought it was bad writing (maybe it is) but after the 10th episode he strated to change in a logical way and he realised his mistakes and how useless he is. What a great writing, I hope its not by chance and its made on purpose.
With this kind of stories you need to have a proper ending to your suffering MC.
1st ending: the scene where Dong Shik asked Han Joo Won to handcuff him. Really good scene you can feel that Dong Shik is now done.
2nd ending scene: on the bridge OH MY GOD Shin Ha Kyun WOOOOOOOOOW. What an actor. What an insane "Smile but sad eyes". Just cover his mouth with your hand you can just feel pure sadness. This is a broken man.
I loved that ! I like when things are realistic. Life continues but I'm sad anyway. I LOVE IT. (tbh I wouldn't mind if Dongshik tried to kill himself but this way is way better)
Still 8.5 for me cause the 1st 10ep could have been better (or it should have been a 12 ep drama) and ost was insane but some bgms didn't feet the scene they were playing on very odd.
EDIT: Want to add that I have x2 some scene cause pacing issue etc... I really thing It improved my perception of this one. Could have been 7.5 or 8 if I had to watch those scenes slower.
The fact that her loving dad, who truly and genuinely loved her, never did in this timeline hurts SO MUCH.
Also the fact they're never showing Ye Hai Tang's journey after Zhang Hao (Rat/Tang Yi Xun's friend) tells her that Tang Yi Xun 'died' is on purpose.
You can, and may, think whatever you want but this is a fact. It's made on purpose.
But why ?
Did Ye Hai Tang really love someone else? WHO did she marry and why? Is Shen Cheng adopted? Then still alive in this timeline?
Well too many questions are left open on purpose so I WANT to think (ME NOT YOU) that Ye Hai Tang adopted Shen Cheng and married his father for whatever reason to take care of him. Then divorced when Shen Cheng and his dad went to england cause she wanted to come on Tang Yi Xun's birthdays.
Sorry for the bad and unorganized writing, my eyes are still blurry.
it was perfect for me but don’t worry you are not the only one who thought this way , but this is one of the…
Well i'm kinda hard on horror stuff i found them boring sometimes cause its too predictible (but i love the genre). So I dont have that much recommendation drama side. I love The Haunting of Hill House tho. But not a drama so im not really helping you there

Yeah i just wanted to emphasize the fact that the first episode is not representing the quality of this series. For people that wont want to watch it after the 1st ep. Keep watching. You dont even have to wait 10 episode to be really interesting. Hype goes up really fast in 2 episodes!
Ok, I must confess. Episode 1 was really bad. A reaaaaalllyyyy bad way to introduce a world. MC kept asking "why ? what? How ?" every 2seconds. That was a bad and poor writing. There are plenty of ways to handle it better.
BUT ! Just stay. Keep watching. You'll understand fast enough. 2nd episode was my trigger. I knew instantly i was gonna witness peak.

Great watch. Ending should have been longer, it lacked some depths.
