I am not getting offended :) But if you don’t understand why she wouldn’t buy her brother a phone, then actually I don’t think there’s much to discuss more IMHO. This drama is simply not for you and with that many options, there’s always other dramas better suited for your taste! :)
I was like “oh sure you just wanted to be friends w benefits” after seeing how much he did for her when her dad passed like, what kind of SP care that much to that extend LOL

Well not sure if you noticed, It clearly showed why she let Louie buy a phone (the start of the buying process), she thought of her brother and she regretted not buying for him. And also Louie is using her card to buy without asking her. They returned most of the stuffs. And she is a kind girl who grew and tried to understand people. Plus, it’s her younger brother which is also her actual dependent. She likes Louie as a guy since the beginning. A lot of the details in this drama is very subtle and needs to think it through, they don’t spell it out, which is exactly why I like it. Show don’t tell.
Definitely don’t understand people saying zero character growth when the entire show IS about character growth lol they even spell it all out lol you don’t have to be a jerk turn nice guy to consider “growth” lol people can be decent and nice and good and still grow from a kid to a matured version who now know better in life lol
Now I’m going to do a marathon of the remaining SIG dramas I haven’t seen yet. :)
Every person who fall in love with SIG in a new drama always binge watch all his other dramas lol It’s a given I am not even kidding. He seriously just has that magic lol
Is this drama similar to 100 days my prince? I just finished it and I loved it! Both MC suffers from amnesia and…
Personally this drama is done better in terms of writing! But a much more fluffy yet heart felt vibe. You will just love every character in this and have some good laughs and touching moments. It’s lovely!
Watched 3 episodes and I am liking it a lot? I was already interested in it despite not liking a dumb male lead before it airs (had a gut feeling that it seems fun). Usually I am picky in seemingly childish rom com and I just don’t even want to start the first ep at all but had a hinge on this one and I was right. I really enjoyed it so much! Don’t think it was “slow” to me at all
Totally agree, that part made no sense whatsoever. Accusing the rangers of "acting as if they own the mountain"…
Which I understand and agree completely but that’s missing the point where I said the public’s sentiment. It’s nothing about what’s ACTUALLY makes sense but how the public would FEEL in order for them to take a side. Public sentiment is very often not objective but instead very subjective. That’s why politicians can manipulate public opinions and such. A bomb FEELS very different than fallen trees. Very likely if it was fallen trees, the public will say “hey it’s restricted area your own fault” whereas a bomb people would feel it’s the gov/rangers fault even they could be in the same exact location. Especially when the guy is a father of three.

I think it’s actually pretty realistic. The society aren’t that black and white. They synthesize with the “poor” and citizens. Especially when most people don’t think “hiking in restricted areas” is that bad of a violation. It’s not this person fell by himself but a bomb. The public being on their side isn’t that out of line. Even though it’s not the rangers fault technically.
I actually knew someone like this IRL. They will stress the cons (or negative aspects of something) so that the…
However, I don’t believe that’s really to Yumi’s best interest. Woong was projecting his situation to Yumi’s, instead of thinking what’s best for her. Does he know Yumi’s love for writing or her skills? Did he make that judgement because he knows Yumi’s skills actually “suck”? A pyramid scheme is 100% - a scheme. He said all that not because he knows Yumi will 100% fail cos she’s terrible and won’t ever be good enough. He was simply projecting the negativity from his current situation onto Yumi’s.
With each passing episode I like Woong less. The man has zero communication skills, knowingly tagged along a toxic…

Webtoon and drama is not 100% in sync but in webtoon they broke up mainly because of the many small things showing they don’t match. Such as communication or timing. Which I think isn’t really a waste of time? It was a good time when they were together and slowly learning more about each other so you part away always teach us what we want or don’t want next. Woong has flaws but overall he’s still a good man. Maybe not for Yumi, maybe not at this time coz he also needs to grow more
I'm with a lot of the commenters, Move to Heaven was a strong entry. The procedural aspects were my least favorite…
I actually had to agree with you on out of the 3 anti hero shows, TDJ was honestly the best one. It has many flaws, many, but at least it tries to tell a message about what Yohan does is not right and cannot be justified, and have big consequences. It may have displayed Gaon as an annoying character for some (I saw many many hated him to the point they cursed on the actor, which IMHO he did an amazing job, unlike someone on this comment section claiming he was “underwhelming” lol), he was my favorite character. He was real, and always trying to reflect on himself. Yohan is the “sexy anti hero” but I cannot stand behind a judge being that biased. Which I appreciated the show tried to tell us that’s not how the world should be.
It’s just sad that the writer wasn’t skillful enough to pull off the messaging he wanted to come through with the way the characters were executed. (You can’t make Yohan that perfect and try to bring down everyone and then tell the audience his way is not the best way). They made everyone else too weak (when they were not supposed to be in the initial character plans), especially Gaon and Soohyun, when the writer wanted the audience to be like them.
I wish, WISH, this writer be the consultant (with his unique POV being a former judge), but let Beyond Evil’s writer to write it out LOL that would have been PERFECT
Wow! I am so happy that Yumi finally voiced everything and stood up to Sae Yi. Go Yumi! Sae Yi couldn't even get…
Hmmm? I think it’s more sensible for Woong to not tell others about what truly happened between him and Saeyi? If he would have told Louie Woong would be such a lousy guy. These things should have been kept private especially that’s kinda insulting to tell a outsider about “how terrible Saeyi is as a person”. Even if she is. Louie knows they fought, but he doesn’t need to know WHY they fight. As a friend, it’s normal to be the middle man and try to solve the fights between your friends.
Yo Babi saying he made tartare sauce kinda made me sad. Because that means he wanted to make the fish dish for his girlfriend since she didn’t try it last time. So he must have gotten all the ingredients at home but then her cancelling = he has to make the tartare sauce again alone. He must has been so excited to make it for his GF.
I like the distance and clear line Babi drew between him and Yumi. At this time I can see he has no thoughts about Yumi, only coworker that he wants to be friendly with. His small talk skills is 100/100 lol
i agree i was hoping it was going to be more psychological but the cell scenes seem to be there just for the fun…
To each of their own but I thought the cells were very very insightful… it was almost ingenious. It deciphers a lot of the social clues and rules. They are so grounded and definitely not just for the fun of it… At least for me
