Disney needs to understand making a show available after it's finished is not gonna fly here with Kdramas. SO many people watch it on air. By the time is available most people who would be willing to pay for subs already finished it somewhere else. I paid for the subs because I want official UHD + CH subs in the US. I don't want illegal quality but you are not letting me.

How is this slow burn romance lol it’s moving rather quickly even before the one night? I am loving it so much. I rarely enjoy any drama from both leads and romcom but this one definitely is great! It’s not so light that none of the characters nor the development make sense, I can agree and understand everyone’s action and I like that they are way more adult-like. Not about sex or not, but just how they all handle work, life, family and love. It’s more matured even thought it’s a lighter romance story.

Maybe that’s why people don’t like it lol

Also song kang’s character is totally my type in romance story lol Secretly flirty af and knows how to make a girl flutter even tho he seems “nerdy” lol This is way better than him trying so hard to look like a playboy in Nevertheless (just as Han sohee tried way too hard to look like a “boring normal college girl” lol they really should have switched roles lol Han sohee is way too bad ass for Nabi lol)

I also enjoy park minyoung here. It’s literally the first time I can handle her role lol She’s very likable here. She needs someone to come into her life to break her walls a little since she’s been living too carefully. Loving how ML is creating a storm in her life and in her career. She’s already smart, excited to see her grow more as a professional too!

It’s kinda interesting to me how so many Korean communities see insane chemistry between the leads and yet it’s different internationally now? Lol The couple even had the name “candy couple” and I felt they had such great chemistry lol but then again each person has their own opinions. I would think this drama won’t work without the romance? Lee Ahn chose to help because he loves her to begin with lol

It doesn’t even make sense? The society is even more unfair so you actively want to be unfair? Shouldn’t you want to change this starting from law enforcement and youth? Just because the world is unfair, that’s the lesson you want to teach the kids? That doesn’t even make sense. Ugh I am so irritated lol

OMG is this a female director and writer again??? THEY ARE KILLING THE GAMES. I felt this back in Beyond Evil: "wow the directing and writing of the script is so nuanced and detailed, very calm and subtle and really dig deep into psychologically" and turns out it was also a female director x writer combo. I love this!

UGH Ep3 is SOOOO solid. The script is truly very tightly written. Once Eng subs is available please do give this a watch!

I liked it a lot so far so I am still watching, but I can’t really immerse myself like I did when I watched Run On, Do You Like Brahms and Chocolate

I am not getting offended :) But if you don’t understand why she wouldn’t buy her brother a phone, then actually I don’t think there’s much to discuss more IMHO. This drama is simply not for you and with that many options, there’s always other dramas better suited for your taste! :)

I was like “oh sure you just wanted to be friends w benefits” after seeing how much he did for her when her dad passed like, what kind of SP care that much to that extend LOL

Well not sure if you noticed, It clearly showed why she let Louie buy a phone (the start of the buying process), she thought of her brother and she regretted not buying for him. And also Louie is using her card to buy without asking her. They returned most of the stuffs. And she is a kind girl who grew and tried to understand people. Plus, it’s her younger brother which is also her actual dependent. She likes Louie as a guy since the beginning. A lot of the details in this drama is very subtle and needs to think it through, they don’t spell it out, which is exactly why I like it. Show don’t tell.

Definitely don’t understand people saying zero character growth when the entire show IS about character growth lol they even spell it all out lol you don’t have to be a jerk turn nice guy to consider “growth” lol people can be decent and nice and good and still grow from a kid to a matured version who now know better in life lol

Every person who fall in love with SIG in a new drama always binge watch all his other dramas lol It’s a given I am not even kidding. He seriously just has that magic lol

Personally this drama is done better in terms of writing! But a much more fluffy yet heart felt vibe. You will just love every character in this and have some good laughs and touching moments. It’s lovely!

Watched 3 episodes and I am liking it a lot? I was already interested in it despite not liking a dumb male lead before it airs (had a gut feeling that it seems fun). Usually I am picky in seemingly childish rom com and I just don’t even want to start the first ep at all but had a hinge on this one and I was right. I really enjoyed it so much! Don’t think it was “slow” to me at all

Which I understand and agree completely but that’s missing the point where I said the public’s sentiment. It’s nothing about what’s ACTUALLY makes sense but how the public would FEEL in order for them to take a side. Public sentiment is very often not objective but instead very subjective. That’s why politicians can manipulate public opinions and such. A bomb FEELS very different than fallen trees. Very likely if it was fallen trees, the public will say “hey it’s restricted area your own fault” whereas a bomb people would feel it’s the gov/rangers fault even they could be in the same exact location. Especially when the guy is a father of three.

I think it’s actually pretty realistic. The society aren’t that black and white. They synthesize with the “poor” and citizens. Especially when most people don’t think “hiking in restricted areas” is that bad of a violation. It’s not this person fell by himself but a bomb. The public being on their side isn’t that out of line. Even though it’s not the rangers fault technically.

However, I don’t believe that’s really to Yumi’s best interest. Woong was projecting his situation to Yumi’s, instead of thinking what’s best for her. Does he know Yumi’s love for writing or her skills? Did he make that judgement because he knows Yumi’s skills actually “suck”? A pyramid scheme is 100% - a scheme. He said all that not because he knows Yumi will 100% fail cos she’s terrible and won’t ever be good enough. He was simply projecting the negativity from his current situation onto Yumi’s.
