It hasn't been explained actually. We were told (by writer) that his professor puts him in the Judas position but the writer has yet to dive into why he is such "righteous" and why so suspicious of Yohan.

Tho the trial is actually supposed to feel this way to show you how Yohan is making this a show + manipulating the general public easily with Yohan's perfect acting on camera

Like, his role is to paint a picture so you can't build up a story if he doesn't see what the world is seeing him now and then later the contrast when Gaon discovers Yohan's true feelings LOL Gaon is going to be on Yohan's side later on and be like a Robin to the Batman I am pretty sure LOLLLL

Well in that party Yohan was pretty disgusting as well tho if we don't know who Yolan's motives. We know Yohan is the lead so it seems ok but from Gaon's POV, Yohan himself also was part of the real villains. (He showed his ambition to be the next president) Also I wonder if Yohan brought Gaon also to test if anyone remember Issac's face.

I think it's only because yohan is the male lead so people feel like this. From what Gaon's seeing it's actually pretty suspicious, and it's also not just "rumors". What's the difference between what he's been hearing compared to what normally "witness" would say? He's still trying to find out the truth for sure but these people are talking about their personal experiences, not "rumors".

Lol not sure if you are aware tho, the writer is an actual former judge in Seoul who graduated from Harvard Law school. So even if it was not “realistic”, as the actual judge I guess it’s just his personal choice to make this a fantasy LOLLLL

You can see female lead is approaching her. And she has given hints that she’s probably going to be female lead’s spy or sth cos she definitely craves power and greed

Personally both Yohan and Gaon is Moon writer’s brain talking to himself. On one hand his ex judge experience must have haunted him for years that as a judge he couldn’t fulfill justice because of corruption. Yohan is his desperate need for an anti hero to come and ignore all rules. But Gaon also feels like Moon writer himself. While he is a law practitioner, the Constitution and legally obtained objective evidence must be something so important to his moral values. Can he give up the founding rules of being a Law person, a judge, who supposed to be unbiased and give in for justice?

It's a fiction written by an actual ex-judge. Writer was a Harvard grad Seoul lead judge but when he was still working there he revealed some dark secrets and so the previous government blacklisted him. So now that he's no longer working as a judge it's almost like this is what the writer has always wanted to do but couldn't lol

From the preview of ep3 it seems like she will now be having a face off with Yohan now. So Ep1-2 isn't much about her yet but now that she's engaged with the fight lol

Some people adjust ratings as the show goes too. Just two different types of raters. I have voted the show 9.5 at the first 4 episodes because it was so good and as it got worst I lowered it to 6.5. It’s not a bad idea to encourage more people watch it if the beginning is promising. Viewers are feel to drop it if it’s getting bad half way.

As a sitecom which I typically don't watch, it's pretty good! It's supposed to be a happy and easy watching show. I think it did that exactly!

Lol definitely to each of their owns. Sometimes Jisung for me acts with too much strength it’s almost forced to me so I am also looking forward to liking his acting more in this haha
